| I loved Bulletstorm but I think it was definitely a stand alone game and not part of a bigger series. Well done to Epic for not cashing in, even if it was slightly forced by sales, a sequel would have felt contrived. |

| The only reason Bulletstorm didn't sell millions of copies is because it came out a decade too late. If this would have come out during the Duke Nukem 3D days, it would have set sales records with all of its endless dick jokes, cardboard cutout characters, dick jokes, and uhh.... dick jokes. |

Bulletstorm was fantastic, been seeing a lot of reviewers of recent looking back and realising the potential the game had. I personally put a lot of time into it and still ranked 4th on the Echoes. I have to face palm when I see negative comments like the above about the game content. The story and dialogue was refreshing. |

"From a sales perspective it was good, but not amazing. I think EA was hoping we'd do better." Much the same could be said about the gameplay. Sure it was a bit of fun to blast through once but really nothing tempting me to give it another go. Still, Bulletstorm shat from a great height over that abomination in a dead skin mask pretending to be syndicate |

| Bulletstorm's potential success was killed by people determined to reject it before it was even released. The game it's self was great fun, & innovative. Unfortunately 'innovative' is an easy target for trolls, and people looking for chances to gain reputation. Other good examples of this would be Too Human, and Mirror's Edge. |

| Bulletstorm didn't sell well because everyone was expecting gears of war 3 and then all of a sudden bulletstorm came out of nowhere and epic pushed the finished game gears of war 3 back to promote bulletstorm. This infuriated me and many others I know who simply refused to give epic any money as they had pushed back the game we were all looking forward to. If bulletstorm came out now I would of bought it no questions asked. It seems epic will struggle without gears, hope I'm wrong though |

| Didn't they say a while ago that while Epic wouldn't work on a Gears of War prequel because they wanted to do other things, that People Can Fly may be given the go ahead to do them at some point, could be that we'll see there take on the Gears Universe, and could be one of the reasons behind Gears of War: Exile been canceled. |

| A sequel to Painkiller would be nice, but I also liked Bulletstorm quite a bit. Maybe it's not for everyone (and hence it didn't sell like Gears/COD/BF3 - but not every game will), but I thought it was a nice, change of pace game that was worth a sequel (just my opinion). |

| People always go off about how samey and repetitive FPS games are nowadays and then when a great game like Bulletstorm comes out that does things differently, people call it gimmicky or don't give it the time of day. That's a shame because it was a really fun game. I bought it for the Gears 3 beta as well, and I ended up loving it. The writing was excellent (except for the female soldier, who just said shit to sound tough) and the action was great with the leash/kick/cool guns. It sucks that we won't see a sequel, but People Can Fly are pretty good at what they do (they made Painkiller after all) so hopefully we are gonna see something good. |

The problem with Bulletstorm was that after the first playthrough the single player content had absolutely no replay value and the multi-player content was only bearable if you had 3 friends that owned the game. Aside from its childish humor/story the actually game-engine and gameplay were a huge leap. The functionality of the whip and the variety of the weapons were new additions to the shooter genre in age where no one other then Bioshock tries to truly innovate. Also the ending kind of left some things open that I expected to see closed in a sequel...Kind of hope they at least do a SP DLC to close that out if they don't ever plan to do a sequel. |

@27 and 29 If you look at the first weeks sales figures you could maybe make the argument that Bulletstorm only sold because of the GoW3 Beta: ps3: 60K worldwide 360: 300K worldwide However, also remember that Killzone 3 came out on the ps3 the same week and sold 500K worldwide. So you can't automatically attribute lower ps3 sales to the GoW3 beta. |

I liked Bulletstorm for a really short period of time, just got tired of trying to kill in sorts of ways. The humor was okay IMO, I just felt like the multi ways to kill were the only thing that the game really had to stand on. This is just my opinion. |

| Number 69 That would be Anarchy Mode and Bulletstorm was a bit unorthodox I'll admit but it was one of the best Shooters of 2011 and it wasn't anything award winning it was just pure fun you know kind of like the Left 4 Dead Series. So first Epic cancels Gears of War Exile (initially wasn't that sad that they canceled Gears Exile cause I don't like Kinect). But that means there won't any Gears games for a very long time because they also said that if there was gonna be another Gears game they wouldn't do it People Can Fly might do a Gears of War Pendulum Wars prequel trilogy which is cool and now this what is Epic thinking what are they going to develop an Unreal Tournament sequel? Shadow Complex? This co-op Fornite? God epic stick with what your good at... I mean it's not that I have a problem with them going to try something new you know all they are trying to do is establish themselves as a developer but I don't think throwing away there most successful franchises is the way to go damn... |

Great game! Thanks to gamers who can't pry themselves away from COD, new horizons of games will never see the light of day. Looking to boot multiplayer for it if anyone is interested (if MP isn't already dead. I figure GoW3 prob killed it). gamertag: King L0uis II |
