Sid Meier Civilization Revolution Demo This Week

Sid Meier Civilization Revolution Demo This Week
Written Wednesday, June 04, 2008 by Dan Webb

Since the dawn of time, the Sid Meier's Civilization series has been a PC title. With the latest version being released on consoles, many have questioned, will it even work? Well, instead of jumping straight in to the game to test it, why not try it out with the demo first.

Gamespot Australia just reported that there will be a 1.08 GB demo available worldwide on the Marketplace this coming Thursday at 2am Local Time which by my estimations is very soon. So watch this space. Just know it's coming.

I'm looking forward to this demo, although I heard you can only play up to 1250 Ad or something... oh well, soon it will be out and I can just go buy it.

Woohoo! I've been looking forward to this demo (and Spectral Force 3's demo) for awhile. I'm anxious to see how exactly it's going to work on a console. I already plan on trying hard to be first in line at Goozex for it.

Can't wait for this. I was a little worried about getting it without playing it, but this will give me something to do until the full version is out.

Nice, I have this on my rental list from Gamefly, I'll probably buy it from them as well. I love the Civ games.

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
