UK Community Callout: Want to Play the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier MP in London Before the Beta? Sure you do!

With the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier beta surely just around the corner, Ubisoft UK are giving a select group of UK gamers a chance to play the beta before anyone else.

Guess what? 5 of you and your plus ones are invited!

We’re looking for 5 members of the X360A community – who can bring a friend if they like – who can make it to central London on April the 16th between the hours of 3pm and 9pm.

Those selected – yes, along with their friend – can get involved in a Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer tournament, win prizes, eat all the food and drink they like and basically see and play the MP before the beta’s public release. Heck, you’ll even get the chance to meet Bradders and myself... wait, that’s more of a booby prize, but still, you get to have an afternoon of bliss with video games, prizes, food and drink. Can’t beat it, right?

To get involved you need to:

  • Be able to get to central London and back on April 16th between the hours of 3pm and 9pm. Travel or accommodation if needed will not be covered.

  • Be over the age of 18.

  • Be comfortable to have us interview you on camera for a few questions RE the game – not required, but it certainly helps us out *wink wink*

To register your interest, just head on over to the forums now and let us know if you’re interested, whether you can definitely make it (please, no maybes, it just complicates things) and whether you’ll be bringing a plus one. Then, early next week we’ll pick 5 winners, grab phone numbers and dish out the details. Easy!

It’s a great way to start the week meeting like-minded folks, so don’t miss your chance on this one.

  • But I can't=(
  • What about us North Americans. Damn game is made in Ubisoft Montreal for christ sake
  • American's get enough nowadays regarding the Xbox. We, Europeans, deserve something too.
  • FYI, events like this are fun to attend. You may think it's nerdy, but you get to meet some cool people, including a few people who worked with development or the publishing of said game. If you are into the gaming industry, it's a good way to meet some people and maybe get some information that others would have to pay for. Just my 2 cents.
  • Americans get everything. #3 i love you :) i'll just wait for the beta. cant come soon enough
  • Meanwhile here in Sheffield, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
  • LOL Americans do but what about us Canucks? We always get pooched on the North American front and I agree with #6 FUUUUUUUUUUU
  • I just want the beta. When does that start?
  • Can we be THE age of 18? or only over it?
  • That would be my dads birthday as well :(
  • The Beta started in 2010 according to my piece of paper in the Splinter Cell Conviction box.
  • Yeah just reminds me, wasn,t that the gamers who bought splinter cell convition back then promised they would have first dips on that ghost recon beta, i not hear anything about that anymore, all i know they posting stuff that you can sign in and answer two questions on facebook and the lucky onces getting a beta code. So much for the splinter cell conviction game i keept all this time just for that purpose that i would get to play the beta.
  • Its in London? Ermm if they pay my ferry and train ticket i,m on my way! lol
  • I'd love to but alas I live in America and international travel is kind of expensive. I'll just enjoy the beta when it opens.
  • MP and London? Two big nos :D
  • :2 Ubisoft is a European company
  • Now i just wonder why someone adds a tumbs down on a comment about making a joke about if they payed the tickets i,m on my way, but i,m not even supriced seeing the general comment here sometimes, if i wanted to i could place tumbs down on most comments and had no life anymore ;)
  • #16 Not totaly true, Ubisoft has gamestudios across the globe, the biggest are Ubisoft Montreal (where assassins creed comes from) and Ubisoft Paris (known for the ghost recon and rainbow six and last but not least splinter cell) There little side studios aswell.
  • European and Americans fighting over they dont have enough, think about me, living in INDIA... I can just dream... maybe my son would have it better.
  • @2 Actualy your wrong Ghost Recon was made at Ubisoft Paris with some help from Ubisoft Montreal. But the main portion of the game was developed in Paris. And no i wasn,t one of the tumbs down ppl ;) I just correct not place tumbs downs on ppl just because had something wrong or place their oppinions.
  • @#6 Meanwhile in North East England... FFF----
