I actually just cancelled my pre order for the SE version last week. I want the game don't get me wrong, but I couldn't justify dropping a $100 on what I just don't see as too valuable. The MP stuff seems decent, but the soundtrack, and the statue don't scream $40 to me.
I can't wait for the game to drop, but will be sticking to the standard version. |

| gamestop has been attempting to sell the crap out of this for months now with a commercial every 5 minutes. in my 7 months working at the store i have yet to sell 1 pre-order for this game. it was a poor decision to create a deadline in the first place and quite obvious that this extension would be made. if a game is good/popular enough (ie: MW3, Skyrim), the special editions will sell. if not, they will sit on the shelf for months. |

I think this is because the special edition is over priced like hell £89.95 for a Max Payne figure basically. It's like the Skyrim special edition all over again something like 120 quid for a model dragon.
I have pre-ordered this from Shopto where you get a free T-shirt! It's funny how you don't get this when you buy the special edition lol. Can't wait for this. |

I think the only reason R* even announced GTAV is because interest in MP3 is very low.
I think they're hoping we'll buy MP3 as we wait for them to finish GTAV.
Although most people I know just want more content for Red Dead. |

| Collectors editions and those that go by others names for games like in this case Max Payne 3 are def nice and sometimes they do come with def some cool extra,s but i,m not sure what this one costs in NA or UK but here in europe they asking a woopy 120 Euro,s for it, and to be honest just for some unlockable weapons in MP and a keybullet-ringy and a statue of Max Payne..ermm not even showing him as he turns out in the game later (bold head, beard and just a undershirt) isn,t my tought of a great collectors edition, the freedom edition for assassins creed # doing there a much better job realy. |
