You'd better put some extra Microsoft Points aside, or get into Microsoft's Triple Play promotion for some free points, as there's a veritable boatload of content coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace this week and the following week, with a ton of new XBLA games, add-ons and deals.

Diabolical Pitch, The Pinball Arcade and Anomaly: Warzone Earth all hit this week, followed by the gooey physics-based joys of The Splatters, arcade fighting of Skullgirls and the indie uniqueness of Fez. There's also your usual add-ons and deal of the weeks to check out, which includes SNK fighting discounts and a huge swathe of CoD map pack deals.

There's even a Max Payne sale, to prepare you for the impending launch of Mr. Payne's third outing this May. As ever, this little lot comes courtesy of Major Nelson, but he's missed some bits, which we've added. We'll add any other missed bits we dig up too. Check it all out:

World at War and Modern Warfare 2 map packs on sale AGAIN? This has been, what, the 4th time the map packs for those two games have been a DOTW. Even if you still like those games (I enjoy WaW still) almost no one plays them online anymore, and they are filled with hackers! Yes, I really want to buy more maps to play with people that fly through the air with god mode on and constantly calling in dogs. Yes, that's tons of fun!

By the time blackops map packs go on sale, no one will want them as Blackops 2 won't be far off and people are buying the mw3 map packs at the mo.

Every year, they would put map packs on sale the week before the new game, blackops being the only one that hasnt. Personally doing them on sale after the next game came out is biggest sales mistake eva as a huge amount wont bother with the older games.

Really hope J/P get Europe g.o.d release, even though everyone says it's shit I can't resist it.
Great to see tropico dlc ,loving that (really need sim city on xbla though),and every one moaning about old cod dlc,those games are still high in the multiplayer charts and we all know how much acti like a buck,so its no surprise really.
All in all a great week, (if you like your dlc )

Wow, these games and deals are terrible.

Also, since I never played CoD, I never heard about the Zombie/Nazi mod, and the fact that it is forbidden in Germany. I am from Germany and I think it is our duty to fight the Nazis. Damn censorship here. Sounds like a great way to practice 'Entnazifizierung' to me...

@86 why do you think its shit?, there have been some awesome titles on the xbla this year and throughout last year. i thought the last house party ( if thats what the promotion was called )in particular had some Really good games.

I believe it's because Germany gets the Nazi Zombie maps censored out of the map packs. lol, but at the same time, it's sad that we still have censorship in the world, especially in a "first world" country.
