| yeah its been really nice being a rewarsd member.if you just kkep up with whats going on and plan ahead you can get lots of free points.ive earned well over 2100 msp since the inception of the program.sometimes its just about being lucky at the time of some large purchases aswell. |

| Too bad MS won't let me recover my account password, my email was wrong and now they think I'm trying to hack my own account... can't blame them, but it means I can't take advantage of nice offers like this. :-( 300 points is pretty nice, though, considering you're getting paid for doing things you likely would have anyway, between the surveys and other stuff they offer, you could probably get an arcade game after six months or so. |

For those of you complaining about getting only 300 points.. I'd find it hard to believe that none of you has some balance of MS points already attached to your account. I can see where adding a few hundred more for doing something just a bit extra could be a real disappointment.
In response to the "that doesn't buy anything" crowd, I'd like to point you to the "Deals of the Week" that are released so often. There's usually something there that can be purchased for less than 300 pts. |

I look at it this way:
300 MSP (current promotion) + 20 MSP (April 2012 survey) = 320 MSP
320 MSP = 2 FREE Rock Band DLC songs (sometimes even 3 or 4 songs), especially when sooooooooo many get released in a single month.
And when there are many players out there that play Rock Band 3 with weird tastes in music, that is a really good deal there. |

@37 If you already use the partner programs, then it's easy free points. That's why there's multiple options. I don't have Hulu or HBO GO, but I have Netflix, and I use it even when I'm not being given free points. The social apps are all free, and most everyone uses Youtube if only to avoid not being able to see videos flagged for content.
I really couldn't care less if you're a long time service user. I've made 1400 in points, mostly for doing things I'd do anyway like renewing my gold subscription and buying DLC for things I want. If you're too stupid to understand the promotion, you probably shouldn't comment on it. "Cash back" or instant rebate promotions are very common. I'm surprised this is outside your realm of understanding. |

Nice, I'll easily spend 10 hours playing online. I've already spent an hour on youtube and I'll just use one of the entertainment things when I'm sleeping. Easy MSP.
@22 That makes no sense, you should really learn more about the programs. The xbox rewards program gives you MSP points for taking some surveys, and gives you other ways to earn them like this, or when you re-new you LIVE subscription you'll get 200-400MSP, or giving points back for purchasing games you would buy anyway. You should look into Bing rewards too, I'll easily get over 1600+MSP from them this year all just for searching on Bing. These aren't rip-offs, it's free MSP for purchasing or doing things you would have anyway. |

| To the people who won't join Rewards and are loyal XBL members you really have no reason not to join - it takes little effort and if you think your loyalty deserves repayment then joining this you will get points just for renewing your Live every year. I got 420 points last month for renewing 12 months and doing a 20 second survey - now this for 300 plus this months survey is 740 points. 700 for just being signed up and using my Xbox - no spending of points to get points required! |

I'll probably spend some time playing ME3 online so that should let me get 10 hours of LIVE time.
NEtflix I usually have on when I'm playing games, but on my laptop. Fairly sure I am close to the 10 hours from sometimes watching it on the 360 though.
Never used any of the social. I'll probably do an hour of youtube just to see what is what with it, though again I'd really rather do it on my laptop.
Since I already pay for these services, potential free money. However, I'm not willing to go out of my way for a couple of pounds worth of Ms points. |

I've been playing a ton of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, watch alot of stuff on Netflix and I just now turned on a 53 minute Diablo 3 gameplay video on Youtube and am letting it run while I'm on the computer.. Yeah... I'll hit 10 hours just from Mass Effect 3 MP no problem. Netflix is easy too, we can just use that for PBS kids programs for the kiddos instead of watching them when they are on in the morning.
Youtube is a bit annoying for an hour, but it's fine, can catch up on some =3 I guess. |
