South Park: Tenorman's Revenge Hits XBLA This Friday

With THQ and Obsidian Entertainment continuing work on South Park: The Game, you'll be able to satisfy your South Park appetite in the meantime with South Park: Tenorman's Revenge exclusively on the Xbox Live Arcade later this week.

Playing as Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny, you'll travel through time and space to fight Scott Tenorman and his army of Ginger robots, across 22 levels with drop-in and drop-out co-op play for up to four players. Sounds sweet.

I'm with #2, unless that's the UK release since everything seems to come out on Friday there...the US usually receives things on Tuesday.

@5: It's XBLA, the retail schedule is irrelevant. Obviously most games are out Wednesday, but we've seen a half dozen or so Friday releases in the past, most recently with The Simpsons Arcade.

I'm sure this game will kick ass, but admittedly Friday releases have been hit or miss. For every Simpsons Arcade, you can get a Battle: Los Angeles.

Don't care what day it is released. As long as the game provides the entertainment that I want, I am happy with whatever day/time it is released.

@18 first off, I never thumbs up if someone asks me to unless they say something that's factual or applys to me (ex: Thumbs up if you like Resident Evil, Thumbs up if you hate Justin Bieber, etc.). Secondly, when someone tries to be funny by making a post that lacks any sense when composing it...and not in the GOOD way, I'm certainly not going to find it funny. Even for people where English is not their first language, that was just stupid...here is my translation of what you said:

I'm not trying to be cruel...but I think you just insulted a few cultures who haven't fully learned English with that terrible excuse of a comment. In fact, because I personally believe you did that on purpose you lost all credibility for just TRYING to be funny with that stream of nonsense.

i dont care what day of the week a game is released, but arent new episodes of south park on wednesday nite. Woulda made more sense to plug for it during an episode when you have your target audiences attention... Ill still buy this anyday of the week. Just seems odd givin the tv schedule...

I hope they have unlocks that have episodes of South Park when done them, a bit like Transformers 2. Either on this or the RPG, i wouldnt be bothered. :)

for some reason, after reading all this, all i can think of is Monty Python's French Taunters....

anyways, back on topic, this has now given me something new to play on friday where i actually have a day off! been curious if this is gonna be anygood, so will finally get a chance to find out, annoyingly though, i got no spare MS points for a week or two, so i kinda hope it sucks just so i don't wanna use money i haven't really got to buy it, lol

sure it won't though, South Park made tower defence cool...

I'm so stoaked, I'm glad I just got some more MSP. I'm sure it'll be a fun and hilarious game cause it's my favorite show. It's also great that it's coming out during the new season.

Just picked up the season 15 DVD yesterday which come with a free download of the game as well as a free theme. It says supplies are limited so I'd jump on it. But a free game is great, a free South Park game is freakin' sweet.
