There have been a lot of rumours flying around recently regarding the upcoming Splinter Cell title. Some reports even suggested that the development team were heading back to the drawing board after months of production. In response to these rumours, one of the Ubisoft Developers recently posted a message on the Ubisoft Community boards reassuring fans that the “development of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction is continuing well and the game is shaping up nicely”. In the same post, UbiRazz states:
“There are lots of rumours flying around right now about Conviction's development status and we can tell you that the gameplay has evolved, similar to what happens in every game's development process, and you won't be disappointed.”
