If so, then this is amazing and almost Rockstar amounts of generosity towards fans.
I'm thinking more along the lines that it will only be half of the DLC that was listed there, because I doubt we're getting 20 achievements+500G for free.
But if it is any of that, say 10 achievements for 250G, contains 3 missions and new modes and stuff, then this is still really awesome, even if it is on the disc/preplanned.
I guess we'll find out soon. I am not getting the game yet, but I will be downloading this as soon as it goes up. |

So what exactly did I get Thumbs Down for?
Being excited?
Asking if it was the same thing we heard about in January?
Being shocked and stoked about getting 250G or 500G for free and 10 or 20 achievements with sizable content?
Saying it was as good as Rockstar (who also gave away free, achievement/point DLC shortly after RDR came out)?
Or because of that tiny line about it being on the disc? Which I can guarantee it probably is (since the achievements were already on the disc months in advance)?
Grow up whoever that was. I didn't say anything negative, you don't understand the thumbs up/down system at all. |

to those thinking that this is going to be a free dlc with 500 points worth of achievements:
don't microsoft achievement rules prevent a single dlc pack from containing that many points? i thought to have that many points it had to be spread over multiple packs. |

Shame that they didn't go for the old tank camera because this would have been awesome except for the pointless what if points.
Any way probably get this always prefered the original trilogy over the modern action versions. |

| Makes me wonder if because its free all that means is they planned to ship it in the full game but couldn't fit it into the game because of: Not enough time to finish it or Not enought space left on the disk or some reason like that but hey a free campaign add on with 500 G sounds great. |

@7 personally I think Capcom is looking at the mistakes of EA with Mass Effect 3 and DLC, which is why I refuse to buy ME3.
@24 I doubt it, since you can get all the weapons and costumes from those packs in the Weapon Stash and Costume pack for 640 msp (aka $8) or you can get it included with the special edition, which is an extra $10. Whereas the FREE DLC Capcom is offering is campaign based, which most charge for (*cough* EA *cough*).
Still not sure if I'm getting this game though, changing the RE story by killing Leon sounds like a horrible idea. |

The free DLC hits North America on April 11. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, meanwhile, hits the US on March 20 and Europe on March 23.
Should the US be UK? Since US is apart of NA? |
