![]() | Wreckateer Announced for the Xbox Live Arcade Written Monday, March 05, 2012 By Richard Walker View author's profile |
Utilising Kinect for its castle destroying mayhem, Wreckateer puts you in charge of a ballista, with the sole objective of smashing your way into 60 castles with the help of your buddies, Wreck and Tinker. These castles are infested with goblins and require the use of six different magical projectiles to breach the walls. Featuring physics-based destruction, each structure can be demolished all the way down to dust particles. Each shot you fire results in fully-dynamic smashing and different projectiles have a variety of properties. You can use a Flying Shot to glide over a wall to target a weak spot, for example. Wreckateer also boasts 2-player turn-based local multiplayer for every one of its 60+ levels, and plenty scope to beat friends' scores with replayable playlists. Coming to XBLA in spring 2012, Wreckateer has yet to be priced, but could a neat little game for Kinect to keep an eye on. ![]() | |
