We love a bit of sci-fi round these here parts, so naturally our interest was duly piqued when SEGA announced Yakuza creator, Toshihiro Nagoshi's latest project, Binary Domain. Set withing Tokyo circa 2080, it's a yarn about human-mimicking robots finding their way among the general population. Drawing inspiration from an array of science-fiction movies and novels, Binary Domain is a curious third-person shooter, with a neat trust system and a few other tricks up its armoured metallic sleeve. But is it enough to make it stand out in a crowded genre, or is Binary Domain just another unremarkable third-person action title that's doomed to fail? | |
