I am really looking forward to this game.
I must admit, I would love to play this co-op with friends, so the exclusion of multiplayer was a bit of a blow, but should be a good enjoyable game none the less, and that's the important thing!!!

If the Japanese demo drops soon, I'll download it and play it like I did with RE5. I can't wait for this one!

@6 thanks for being prejudice! I thought Americans were supposed to be the "selfish" ones....but you've proven that false. Glad you're excited that you have a confirmed DEMO, and ours hasn't been confirmed or denied. You win. Congrats.
That's alright. I'll remember that when I'm 40 hours into the game and you STILL don't have it since we get the game 3 days earlier -_-
Anyways, looking forward to this game. IF the US gets a demo, which it probably will, I'll base my decision on it. Most likely a day one buy anyways. After ME3, there's literally nothing else until fall I'm planning on buying, except potentially this game. Another dead, boring summer. Just about time to break out the old games and get caught up on achievements.

The description of the quests makes me think they're identical to the ones available to play at NYCC back in October. I only got through the Griffin battle, and it took me two tries because I got crushed and killed instantly by the damn bird on my first attempt. I would have done the dungeon with the Chimera, but Capcom's booth kept having power issues that shut off all of the games they had running.
I'm still on the fence on this one. I'm wondering if this game will be another good new RPG IP like Kingdoms of Amalur.

"I must admit, I would love to play this co-op with friends, so the exclusion of multiplayer was a bit of a blow, but should be a good enjoyable game none the less, and that's the important thing!!!"
I know its fairly popular to rip games nowadays for not including multiplayer...
But come on.. you haven't even tried out the gameplay yet... so how would you even KNOW if you would like it in multiplayer with your friends? You don't...
Then you go on to say it should be an enjoyable game none the less, and thats the important thing... I don't know.. my crap detector is going off on this post... It's like subtle sarcasm... It's like your sarcasm is completely based off of you have already demoed the game, or maybe beta tester? If so, then your sarcasm would be ok .. i suppose.. but this is like sarcasm epic fail... and it kinda seems on purpose...
So my guess is its just a cheap stab at the game for not having multiplayer... idk.. maybe im reading too much into it.. just thinking out loud is all.. carry on... Morale of the story is.. not every game needs multiplayer to be a great game or successful... if i'm catchin what your throwin...
these sort of statements boggle me... it's like..
Tho have seen screenshots, maybe even video previews(not sure). I haven't tested the game, nor played the demo. but i'd love to play this multiplayer with my friends...

...chill. I feel like you're reading way to deep into that comment; sounded like disappointed, but optimistic, not all this rant-worthy sarcasm you've concocted.
OT: AI may make or break this game for me, but until I get a demo I'm definitely still interested in picking this up.

@#2 You could play both and save the characters and then start on the remaining when you get the game proper.
@#10 I hope you see this. What was the game like? Why are you on the fence. Did the story seem coherent? How was the combat? Are pawns other party members you directly control or are they extra characters you have to set up tactics for?
@#11 You are not catching what he's throwing. Not even smelling what he's stepping in. It's more like dipping your finger in the kool-aid when you don't know what flavor it is. He's getting the game and is super excited by it. He nowhere ripped on the game. He had a wish. That wish was simply to be able to enjoy this game while playing with his friends. It seems that is all. A lot of action oriented RPGs have had co-op whether local or online. He's probably basing his assupmtion on that. Be vewwy careful. I see an aneurysm in your future.
Game is looking better by the day. Chimera?! Yes please. Looks awesome as well. Griffon?! Yes! I hope if there are mounts in this game that you can ride one of those bad boys (or girls) into battle.
