Atari & Milan Records Team Up to Release Alone in the Dark Soundtrack

Atari and Milan Records have just announced that they are teaming together to release the soundtrack for the upcoming Alone in the Dark title. The press release for the game developed by Eden Studio, boasts:

"The evocative score was composed by Olivier Deriviere (Obscure) and performed by world-famous, Grammy Award-winning choir The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices. The result is an energetic, memorable score that mixes orchestration with the unique sound of The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices."

"For its first release of a video game soundtrack, Milan Records is very proud to be associated with such a classic series as Alone in the Dark,” said Nick Bobetsky, VP Sales and Marketing, MILAN RECORDS. “This is an original and powerful soundtrack, which goes beyond what you would normally expect in a video game.”

Alone in the Dark, the game is available from all major retailers June 20th (Europe) and June 24th (North America) and the soundtrack will be released physically and digitally across North America on May 24th and late June in Europe.

its more the score than the soundtrack. bet it will be good for some sampling.

If it's like the series, I'd expect some Silent Hill type music (which isn't a bad thing). I'll scoop this up in a heartbeat.

It's the musical score with 21 cues from the game.

Honkymagoo, the game will be released during the same week with the new Battlefield game. There goes $120! LOL
