Can't wait for this to get released.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 08:51 AM
I want now!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 08:54 AM
YES! I was huge fan of this when it first came out, cannot wait for some achievements to GRIND out.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 08:56 AM
Great stuff. Lets hope for a better collection of DC titles then that shitty half arsed collections disc they brought out. Great game.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 08:57 AM
So awesome.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:01 AM
I'm not going to get this one, I think it would be nostalgia talking and that soon wears off. It's great to see them actually releasing games people want, rather than bass fishing etc :)! I'd love to see powerstone, pso and shenmue reboots, they spent a lot of time in my dc...Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:04 AM
Widescreen? Insta-buy!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:04 AM
Hell yeah!! Day one buy for me :-D And agreed with @#6! Powerstone 1+2, Shenmue1+2 and Sonic Adventure 2 are all needed as those were all top quality games.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:06 AM
Cool, loved this game back on my 'cast. I wonder how well it has aged, considering the cel-shading. :) @6: Powerstone would indeed be nice as well.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:19 AM
Sweet. Now let's see some more Sega CD or Saturn love. Flink, the original Silpheed, the Panzer series, Nights, etc. Regarding DC though, does anyone else think that Samba De Amigo would make a perfect Kinect game?Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:25 AM
I never had a dreamcast.. =( I did play the sequel for the xbox tho! It was awesomeTuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:26 AM
Before anyone says it this time: No, you did NOT already play this game on your Xbox! I can't wait.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:29 AM
The graphics hold up so well. I do think in general that with games from the PS2/DC/GC/XBox era cel-shaded ones hold up much better today. Zelda Wind Waker still looks gorgeous, as do JSR and JSR:F. Cannot wait to play this game again! Now if we can just get Shenmue 1+2.... please SEGA!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:29 AM
Maybe this will peak interest again and we'll get a 3rd game. I never owned a dreamcast but I LOVED Jet Set Radio Future!!! So looking forward to this....Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:39 AM
Is it actually confirmed to have ALL the original music?Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:40 AM
Hmm.. Might actually enter thisTuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:43 AM
this game WAS my childhoodTuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:46 AM
Is this the US version with the extra level? Though I'm more concerned about the Japanese voices being there. The English dub wasn't good.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:47 AM
Just release Sonic Adventure 2: Battle! IT'S KILLING ME!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 09:53 AM
@#19 Same here, Sonic Adventure 2 was the game of my childhood! Please SEGA, make it happen!! :DTuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 10:10 AM
If you've never played this game you need to get it. Absolutely amazing. Shenmue soon hopefully..Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 10:13 AM
Now we need Power Stone, Sonic Adventure 2, Chu Chu Rocket, and Space Channel 5 Part 1 and It'll almost be like I own a digital Dreamcast. I hope they make a 2nd collection disc too. I got the first one as a gift, but I'd probably buy a 2nd one on my own. There's also Shenmue, but I feel like that's never going to happen. Likewise with Seaman (which is seemingly coming to 3DS; If an XBLA one came, it'd probably require Kinect, making it useless to me anyway). I also secretly want Sonic Shuffle. Even if it wasn't that good. Just so I can live the Dream(cast).Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 10:28 AM
Awesome! And to the comment earlier about "Samba" YES!!!! I was one of those dorks who had the maracas! POWERSTONE FTW!!!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 10:34 AM
The sequel was the first Xbox game I ever played. Loved it much more than Sega GT 2002.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 10:49 AM
This is gonna be awesome! I loved this game on Dreamcast, with cheevos! Icing on the cake!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 10:50 AM
i like this style!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 11:00 AM
YEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!! Finally SEGA you are getting it. Keep releasing the great stuff from your back catalogue and show the young uns that never really got to experience these great titles what games were like back in the DC era and before. I loved this game but i really really loved future, that was awesome. I now want Revenge of Death Adder as i never ever played it :( I just wish Konami and Capcom would start releasing some stuff from their back catalogues. Games like Cadillacs v Dinosaurs and Alien v Predator would be amazing. They (to my kniwledge) were never released on a home console and after watching a longplay of CvD id love it. Also could Data East release Captain America and the Avengers Please :3Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 11:26 AM
Summer Of Arcade I'm guessing? Played on Dreamcast. Twas a fun game. I may grab it.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 11:40 AM
Day one! It was the best game on Dreamcast.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 11:43 AM
I never played the original. I played Jet Set Radio Future. Can people give me an idea how they compare please?Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 11:59 AM
Why does Sega take so long to release stuff on XBLA? Sonic Adventure was announced like 2 years before it actually hit XBLA, and they did nothing with the game. It was a straight port.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 12:04 PM
omfg owreijngweokjfnokfjqwoiergjnoweijgkTuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 12:12 PM
Next game i would love to see on XBL is Chu Chu Rocket!!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 12:14 PM
I played it to death on Dreamcast with my bro. Should bring back some good memories=)Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 12:15 PM
I have very fond memories of Jet Set Radio Future. The boss fights were amazing. I will definitely be getting this.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 12:17 PM
I liked Jet Set Radio Future but I will probably not buy this. Not a huge Sega fan and I don't wish to replay this game to be honest.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 01:21 PM
I literally have no money. I want this game so bad, I destroyed it on the original Xbox. It was my first game.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 01:29 PM
As a former Dreamcast owner this is like heaven. Now if only they would release Power Stone and Shenmue my life would be complete!!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 02:05 PM
I want the Panzer Dragoon games! How awesome would Panzer Dragoon Saga look in HD? Make it so, Sega!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 02:09 PM
I am really looking forward to this have the original on the Saturn & then have the Xbox version to, agree with #40 Panzer Dragoon games would be mintTuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 02:14 PM
Awesome!! Been waiting for more Dreamcast games, and this is one of the ones I really wanted!Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 02:14 PM
Woot there is still hope for Shenmue 3 because of this heres how - Jet set radio was rumoured to be remade for xbla along with shenmue, If shenmue is remade on xbla then and does well, why not make shenmue 3?Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 02:36 PM
Zomgosh yes, loved it on the original Xbox.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 02:39 PM
I had both, but I liked the soundtrack on Future better...I kept waiting for Aisle 10 by Scapegoat Wax to play...Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 03:02 PM
Awwww I thought it was the jet set radio on xbox, was wondering why it looks different this has sunk my boat a little. It was my first xbox game and was hoping to play it in hd a well here's hoping the dreamcast version is good.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 03:28 PM
@46, I just realized that as well. I forgot that the Xbox title was "JSRF," not just "JSR." I never played Jet Set Radio, I'm excited.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 03:30 PM
This was easily my favorite Dreamcast game. Though I do wonder with it not being "Jet Grind Radio" does that mean the American levels/music will be absent?Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 03:44 PM
Awesome news. Hopefully it'll only be 800 points. And I totally agree that the Panzer Dragoon series should be next to come to XBLA. On a somewhat related note, I'm still waiting for Daytona to go on sale for 400 points.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 04:00 PM
I've never actualy played this one, i have only ever played the sequal jet set raido future, i thought that it was one of the best games on the original xbox, not the best, but one of. So could someone please tell me if their is any differences between the two, besides locations and graphics.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 04:05 PM

@22 Nintendo is collaborating with Sega on a 3DS Seaman I still have this game on my Dreamcast....and I'd probably enjoy it more if it weren't for the Rokkaku Police. I'd prefer some Saturn titles, particularly NiGHTS, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shining Force III ( ALL 3 parts, since we originally only got part 1 in the US ), Sonic Jam and Magic Knight RayearthTuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 07:21 PM
Along with Shenmue II one of the greatest games on the Xbox. Masterpiece.Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 10:00 PM
Ok cool, hopefully they can release both Shenmue 1 and 2 in HD too, that would be sick! and maybe a hint on whats going on for the third most wanted game on earth - Shenmue 3 :)Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 10:16 PM
so excited n_n one of my fav games. powerstone next please. i wish my dreamcast hadn't died. everything on that console was pretty much golden.Wednesday, February 29, 2012 @ 12:11 AM
classic. though i had a slight bias against this game when i was young since i was a skateboarderWednesday, February 29, 2012 @ 02:54 AM
The thing with shenmue is I think the game mechanics will seem dated now as it's been done so many times since, and improved on...BUT I need to kick Lan Di's arse, he killed my dad and got away with it! It's easily the most memorable story in gaming history for me, I want to finish it. Was inches away from fighting him on top of the yellow building, but it was just a taunt. Come on Suzuki, let us see how this tale ends....Wednesday, February 29, 2012 @ 03:40 AM
Just recentlty got a dreamcast with this game and its still quality todayWednesday, February 29, 2012 @ 08:30 AM
Where's my seaman?Wednesday, February 29, 2012 @ 07:12 PM
Insta-no-buy. No wonder Dreamcast tanked with garbage like this.Wednesday, March 07, 2012 @ 08:21 PM
Yes! Now, if we can get Skies of Arcadia, my nostalgia-driven life can be complete.Wednesday, June 13, 2012 @ 06:01 PM
I'm literally signing into my 360 daily waiting for this release but sadly "summer release" was what Radiant Silvergun got and that was bumped for almost 6months before release :| I can see SEGA doing a few more important DC re-releases soon as they cancelled lots of projects etc with new(ish) IP's (some like conduit not soon enough frankly) so games like this they know are going to make money much easier. Number 1 game of all time :D hell I want a psvita now I know it's coming to that (if they did a JSR version of it I'd buy it in a heartbeat)

That teaser trailer released last week really was for Jet Set Radio HD for the Xbox Live Arcade then (OK. It was completely obvious that it was) as SEGA has today made it official, announcing the game's impending launch for current-gen consoles this summer.
The 2000 Dreamcast classic, famed for it's (at the time) groundbreaking cel-shaded art style and frantic skating and wall-tagging gameplay. DJ Professor K, Beat, Gum and all of the GGs will be hitting the streets of future Tokyo once more, as you race around tagging the streets to mark your turf.
Jet Set Radio for XBLA will have the same genre-blending soundtrack and striking art-style intact, albeit with an HD makeover, while SEGA is holding a contest that will enable fans to create eighteen pieces of digital graffiti art that'll be seen in the game. You can enter the competition at www.sega.com/jsrcontest, where you'll also find full details on how to enter, as well as terms, rules and so on. Winners will receive a prize pack which includes a solar-powered Rukus bluetooth headset.
Exact dates and pricing for Jet Set Radio has yet to be confirmed, with only a summer 2012 release window currently announced. Check out the first three Jet Set Radio HD screens below.
