Zombies in every game? :DThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:36 AM
haha, i think its cos their desperately trying to get people interested in CoD again now that Battlefield is by far the superior shooter.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:38 AM
9/11 was an inside job. Done, there's your plot line.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:44 AM
This just reads as "Infinity Ward embarrassed by terrible game, cling on to Treyarch for help."Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:46 AM
IW and Treyarch making a Call of Duty together, hell yeah!Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:48 AM
This is like mixing pasta and apples then expecting a cakeThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:49 AM
Wish they would make a CoD game with demons and all other types of monsters in it. I know, I sound silly.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:50 AM
@4. If its such a bad game then why did it win best shooter at 2011 spike VGA and why are so many people still playing it if its a bad game? I dont play it much so dont callme a fan boy Im just poking holes in your logicThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:52 AM
I would like to see Combat Training available in every game. Gives people that are not that good a chance to familiarize themselves with the maps.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:53 AM
Well there goes what's left of call of duty infinity shit should not mess with what treyarch has but we'll see what they do with itThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:55 AM
Don't blame IW, I'd want to look to somebody else for ideas after that shitty title they just released.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:55 AM
Looks like someones caught......in a bad romance.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:57 AM
@ 4 - damn you beat me to it!! XD Completely agree. @ 9 - the same reason lots of people still go to McDonald's.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:58 AM
Hopefully they work together to upgrade their sorry engine and do something new for a switch. @5 fail. @VGA is 1 awards show. Try winning over 50 GOTY awards like uncharted. >:DThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 07:59 AM
call of duty is getting very old, boring, recycled, repetitive CRAP! don't get me wrong I have enjoyed them in the past but bring on borderland 2 and Mass Effect 3!!!! :)Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:00 AM
Yeh you can do that in the future if you like. Battlefield will still be better though.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:01 AM
@9 It's so popular because it's a easy pick up and play game, kinda like angry birds. Anyone young or old can pick it up and destroy people online, even if they don't have any video game skills what so ever. That's why every one flocks to it, but in truth it is just another shooter with good graphics.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:01 AM
Treyarch should work on the multiplayer Infinity ward on single campaign Then collaborate on spec ops/zombies or whatever they want to call itThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:02 AM
@9 It wins because of all the COD fanboys out there..Battlefield is a mans shooter where as COD is a little girl trapped in a boys body shooter!Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:03 AM
Zombies with NO! easter egg bullshit, luck based achievements... so fucking lame..... zombies were cool once... not anymoreThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:04 AM
Lol.. Infinity Ward has always made treyarch do all the bitch work for their titles.. When MW2 dropped.. treyarch ported Cod4 over to the wii.. When MW3 dropped treyarch ported MW3 to the Wii.. I dont see whats gonna change lmfao.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:04 AM
25th!!!Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:09 AM
@2: Lol at you. BF3 is the superior shooter now? I don't think so. It's the same old thing time and time again.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:10 AM
Well still sound and over read that still recycle cod titles anyway. Maybe they should making COD series turn into Sci-Fi so they can move on from modern war time. Modern war in COD is so much repeatability. Please bring sci-fi for COD because I am tired of modern war and recycles for itThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:12 AM
Sadly MW3 did nothing really great ^__^ Worst CoD so far.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:19 AM
@ #4 thats perfect, couldnt have said it any better!Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:20 AM
@27 :DDDDDThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:21 AM
I'm still going to buy it used until I feel they give a crap about the gamer.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:24 AM
The Cow has been milked enough.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:24 AM
What they're basically saying is that previous management at Infinity Ward, the guys who formed Respawn, didn't have any communication with Treyarch. They would send Treyarch an engine dump then never talk to them. No official support, no questions answered, no knowledge sharing, technical discussions, bouncing ideas. Now they're actually talking to each other they should all be more efficient. Which probably means nothing at all to us but for Activision it means they can lay off a few people.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:29 AM
they should give up and make something else.... call of duty is doneThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:30 AM
I'm sorry but if they start putting zombies in every game I'm done. It'd get milked entirely too much if that were the case. Part of the reason I like it so much is the fact that it is different than Modern Warfare. I don't want to see more of the same across all games.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:31 AM
Maybe they'll not release one each year now and instead focus on quality. Or not.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:33 AM
Infinity Ward is nothing but leftovers...everyone who was really important at IW left already with Jason and Vince to form Respawn.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:35 AM
no Battlefield talk it is forbidden to speak of such an awful gameThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:37 AM
@27 So what about CoD? They release yearly games and that's apparently not the same as Battlefield 3? I can guarantee you that CoD is the same thing year in and year out since CoD 4.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:41 AM
Battlefield this battlefield that, who cares if its better then cod or cod is better then battlefield. the fact is most of us are sick of military fps.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:41 AM
I think a new IP would suffice.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:44 AM
Does that mean treyarch are going to be forced to become medicore and never use any FUN ideas in there games now?Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:48 AM
kinda skeptical about this as i hate infinity ward and love treyarch ;oThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:48 AM
@40 FAIL!!Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:49 AM
Or even better, Ezio in MW4! Would make as much sense as it did with Soul Calibur... none.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:53 AM
I would like to see Treyarch or IW making something that doesn't involve FP views, military and no yearly releases. Something fun, because Treyarch knows how to keep you busy with fun things.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:54 AM
The thing that interested me in the CoD games was the rivalry between Treyarch and IW, now it's gone. The last thing i need right now is another CoD game, i think CoD needs to be put to bed for a few years and make a comeback on the new generation. I realise this is never going to happen, but one can dream...Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:56 AM
I'd love to see IW handle SP and Spec Ops while Treyarch handles MP but that's just a pipe dream.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:58 AM
I dunno, I see this doing poorly. What makes it nice switching off each year is they both have different ideas and styles. I'd hope they keep to themselves for the most part @7 Are you telling me that isn't the recipe for cake?Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:00 AM
@41 I agree same shit year in year out.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:06 AM
I really don't see how this will change anything for the people who buy Call of Duty games. @#42: You must be new here.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:15 AM
@8 That's already been done. It's called Doom.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:17 AM
I wish they would switch to releasing each game in longer intervals so they could put some work into it and not come out with the same old shit every time. I loved the game since cod 2 but if it is still the same this year i think i will stick to battlefield.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:24 AM
This might mean that instead of Treyarch, then Infinity Ward, then Treyarch etc... each year, maybe they will make a combined game every two years.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:26 AM
@42 Well said with the tired of military shooters line. they (Acti) better figure something out with this game because this was the first COD I did not buy, rent, or even want to play. And for the record no Battlefield this year either. I've been caught up in more immersive games not just point'n'shoot, same old bs titles.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:30 AM
@4 I agree MW3 is pretty bad...but so was Black Ops. CoD 4 and W@W were much better. CoD needs to stop for for maybe two years and try to revamp itself. Getting olddddddddddddddddddddddddddd.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:36 AM
Cod sucksThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:44 AM
i'm surprised they are STILL releasing these games you would think the fat cow that is CoD would have filed a rape complaint by now for being milked near to death by Infinity WardThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:45 AM
I only play this game online when i get super bored out of my mind.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:49 AM
Since they don't seem to give a shit about the singleplayer anymore, why not make it a multiplayer only arcade title?Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:50 AM
it's about time, it makes no sense too me when you have something awsome in one game, like wager matches in blackop's then there gone in the nextThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:50 AM
Even more self-copying?Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:51 AM
Maybe they realize there's beginning to be two separate audiences for Call of Duty: those that buy Infinity Ward games and stay clear of Treyarch, and vice versa. Probably want to make the games more universal perk-wise, etc so fans will come back and eat their games up year after year.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:52 AM
@21 no the military is a man's shooter. Battlefield is for pretending to be in the army and thinking you're coolThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:54 AM
Lol, I can't believe COD anymore. I stopped with Black Ops and vowed never to buy another COD again... They should remake the first one in a few years and maybe I will consider it...Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 10:01 AM
I guess I'd get thumbs down for liking MW2 and disliking Black Ops? Whatever..I prefer Skyrim.. Guns are for wimps.. ;)Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 10:05 AM
@ #4 ExactlyThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 10:09 AM
i don't think MW3 was that bad. I really liked the way the story turned out and the ending was pretty good. Spec ops are entertaining but i didn't like the fact that they are not as challenging as the spec ops missions on MW2. Survival mode was a nice addition to the co-op experience. Its good to see Treyarch and IW working together and I can only hope the come up with fresh ideas for the call of duty franchise. @2 BF3 is not a superior shooter or game for that matter. It has a lot graphical glitches, in campaign and co-op missions AI can walk through walls, no real improvement on gameplay, the single player story structure was a lame rip-off from Black Ops and the ending of the single player story was boring. the multiplayer is the same/worse than previous battlefield games since hit detection is crap and the tactical lights are not realistic since they have the same effect indoors (low light settings) and outside (broad daylight). I expected more since I really enjoyed Bad Company 2. truly regret buying this game over Batman Arkham City.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 10:15 AM
@21 my previous comment also applies to you.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 10:17 AM
Not being a Fanboy at all BUT..everyone who says that "Call of Duty needs to go away" needs to see the first week sales..best of ALL TIME, sadly it won't go away anytime soon for that reason..I enjoy FPS games in general and not nit picky to any particular brand but idk why so many people are so angry with COD when they should just go and play all those kickass games that have come out in the last 2 yearsThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 10:49 AM
YAWN!!!Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 10:58 AM
@2, @17 and other battlefield fan boys out there, why are you reading COD news ? is BF 3 servers down ?Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 11:05 AM
Look, to the Battlefield haters and the COD haters, grow up. Both are successful franchises that have obviously made a huge impact in the FPS market. Most want to hate COD just because it sells. Understand this, COD is far superior to BF in terms of campaign and BF is superior in terms of multi. That is how it most likely always will be so get over yourselves.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 11:08 AM
what about sledgehammer games? forever alone in the corner?Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 11:10 AM
Hopefully they join to form Voltron or something equally great...for their sake.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 11:12 AM
@2 How can Battlefield 3 be the superior shooter when Call of Duty is the biggest selling franchise of all time, MW3 is the best selling game of all time, and the most played game on multiplayer. And in the end of the day it's personal preferences, you may prefer Battlefield 3 but others (like myself) will prefer MW3. So keep your hatred to yourself.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 11:13 AM
Don't touch Blops 2, infinity noobs.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 11:41 AM
i love how the trolls come out on any story related to CoD. Its like people jump on there high horse to make themselves feel better about themselves by trashing a solid series that sells millions. Its like hipsters that hate popular music cause its popular. Call of Duty has turned into the Miami Heat of video games...something everyone loves to hate.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 11:43 AM
So they are going to combine their shittyness make zombie mode a stand alone arcade game and be done with it ^^Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 11:55 AM
I hate the haters that hate on us COD haters.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:02 PM
What a surprise! :xThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:02 PM
@19 I'd actually prefer it the other way around...personally, I think Treyarch made better campaigns (except for CoD 3 that was awful). World At War & Black Ops are my favorite Call of Duty campaigns....haven't played MW3 yet. I don't mind any of the games though (like I said except CoD 3), they're decent $15 games.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:08 PM
I just want to know when the CoD camp is finally going to admit to themselves that the multiplayer aspect of CoD has been the same for years. Like it, hate it, whatever, I just want to hear from you guys that you realize its the same product. Adding zombies or one in the chamber does not make it a "new" game. I bought all the CoD games right up to MW3 because I can't see dropping another 60 dollars on a game I basically already own. The guns are the same, the modes are the same and then you guys buy map packs of maps you've already played on. Again, this is all personal preference so spend your momey how you like but its this attitude that causes the vidfeogame industry to go stale. The Madden franchise has been ruined by this and over time CoD will be ruined as well...Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:09 PM
@ everyone if battlefield was the superior shooter, how come it didn't sell as much and when did this topic ever become a battlefield related topic, you people arent going to be thanked for advertising so why bother and why are you that desperate to get people playing, do you want more fake friends to TEAM up with, that is overcompensation at its best. the new cod will probably have a new engine built from the ground up and then everyone will start saying that is the "superior shooter".Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:10 PM
"I hate CoD, it's the same every time. I stick to Battlefield" Newsflash: Battlefield 3 is basically Bad Company 2 with pretty graphics too.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:19 PM
@86 Well said, i couldn't have out it any better. Also this is meant to be about Call of Duty and NOT Battlefield 3 so please people just stick to talking about COD and if you want to talk about Battlefield 3 then go to a Battlefield forum and do soThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:19 PM
LOL. They're going to work together because each ones previous titles have sucked. Black Ops and MW3 = over hyped crap. How about giving COD to a new studio? One that can add a fresh take on a doomed series. No matter, no more COD games for me.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:19 PM
@ 86 I'll believe that when i see it. @84 I agree COD3 campaign was terrible. @78 Sales mean ZIP. Avatar is the highest grossing movie of all time, only because of it's gimmicks: Awesome CG and 3D. But the movie itself sucked. I rest my case.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:23 PM
Battlefield fanboys flock like lice.... Please.. spare me.. Bad Company 2 is better then 3...Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:30 PM
@68 Oh look, another hipster interjecting his thoughts on Skyrim into an article that has nothing to do with the game, or even the genre. I can't wait until that game leaves the limelight. I love RPGs, but I have had enough with everyone and their mother Essing it's DThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:34 PM
infinity ward has no choice but to collaborate, all the main steam left with the bust up and seriously, they haven't made a game on their own as far back as i remember (i'm sure ravensoft were involved in some of them) and there will be little difference anyway, the engine is a copy & paste effort (so much so that in release copies of the PC version if[when] it crashes it reports as modern warfare 2) not a fan of either of the "big 3" FPS franchises, halo is too slow (crap FOV causes this) battlefield is now CoD 1.75, and well CoD is the same as it has been since modern warfare, and it grew stale part way through MW2.... well, guess its time for me to give up on my favourite genre as it's now just mass produced bleh...Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 12:54 PM
Treyarch > Infinity Ward. I just hope Sledgehammer Games don't get involved because they're absolutely fucking terrible.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 01:03 PM
-shrugs- Doesn't really mean much to me, lost interest in the series several games ago, I have no plan in buying any CoD titles, unless they show some sign of innovation, rather then copy and paste.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 01:05 PM
if bf3 was better than cod, it would have sold more copies, had better reviews and won more awards than cod but it didn't acomplish any of these tasks, so statistically cod was better in every way, with a much better story written by the man who saved james bond and also when did cgi become a film gimmick, you try and make somebody shit theyre brains out of theyre eyes or have a giant city crumble without using it.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 01:19 PM
oh wow ! well they need to fix the crappy tubeing and the spawns are horriable! keep the trophy system up longer than 1 granade in hardcore mode! actually make maps that arent full of hiding spots! have a lot of weapon variety other than the same weapons with just a few differnent looks! fix quick scoping. fixing the modding on the games. Make it where the servers have the host instead of people cause the game is horriable when a person who has little connection is host and the game is crap! zombies no there are to many games based on zombies keep survival mode and spec ops!Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 01:32 PM
@ 76 - Yes. I hope so.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 01:55 PM
I want IW to stay away from the Treyarch touch.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 02:04 PM
Now it will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1,023 vs Battlefield 4 LOL.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 02:07 PM
I got a few ideas; 1. Take a dump in a box and release that, it will be the same thing as MW3. 2. Call of Duty: War on Seasame Street 3. Call of Duty: Who actually pays any attention to the titles 4. Get EA to help you on it, that way you will lose tons of money on a title that was released to earlyThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 02:18 PM
Good, take all the creative tools away from Treyarch. Break all their fucking pencils and smash all their monitors. Don't let them make anything ever again. I'm not saying Modern Warfare 3 is amazing, but it did have the precision that you'd come to expect from an IW game. Treyarch still makes games with such disgusting hit detection, then put it in a green case and call it a game. It's horrifying.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 02:21 PM
Dear Infinity Ward, Stay the F*ck away from Treyarch. MW2 and MW3 are the most noob friendly POS games in the franchise. Thanks, Worried CoD PlayerThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 02:36 PM
I hope they make from this milked cow, a nice juicy steak ;)Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 02:38 PM
love the bromance reference.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 03:11 PM
zombies, that is allThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 03:44 PM
@ #68, guns are for wimps? pfff. "Be not afraid of any man no matter what his size when danger threatens call on me, and I will equalize" - inscription on a Colt Single Action Army.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 03:58 PM
@9 There were a lot of nazis, and im not a nazi fanboy im just poking holes in your logicThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 04:21 PM
The sad thing about this news is that it means they are going to keep making Call of duty games for AT LEAST a few more years. Call of Duty 17. I am going to bet that is the last one.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 04:28 PM
New engine please.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 04:32 PM
Sounds good to me. Maybe they can learn from each others' mistakes and make a good CoD again.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 05:21 PM
fuck call of dutyThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 05:41 PM
Treyarch sucks, I'm not sure why you guys like them. Sure zombies were fun in WaW but they failed in black ops. WaW and Black ops were the worst games of the series black ops was a joke. MW2 and Cod4 were amazing and mw3 blows. Call of duty is dead since infinity ward can no longer make games. And this year we will get some dumb black ops 2 or something terrible like the first b ops.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 06:24 PM
Shove COD up your arseThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 06:45 PM
Idk why so much hate for COD. It's repetitive, sure. But aren't most shooters? You have those who go guns blazing, those who camp, those who suck, those who are good, buildings you can hide in, open areas where you'll get slaughtered, the main spot in the map where most of the traffic is. All these things remain the same just with an update in graphics and gameplay mechanics etc. Every shooter is like this. I also don't understand all the people saying BF is better. It's not. It's a lot slower paced, which isn't very fun IMO. Don't get me wrong, the game isn't bad, just less appealing. I think people are just salty because in COD you can get killed by the massive amounts of 12 yr old try-hards lol. OT: Zombies in MW4 would be epic :)Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:27 PM
Maybe Treyarch should bring vehicles back to COD, like they did in WaW. That was my fav COD game of the series. Just try investing more money into online security, to prevent hackers from ruining MP.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 08:35 PM
So because MW3 was a huge failure, a bad development company is looking to a worse development company for help? Dear lord 2012 just gets worseThursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:51 PM
This could be really good because IW and 3arc could each use their best qualities and make a really good call of duty game that everyone will enjoy...hopefully this leads to no bullshit in online multiplayer. Too much of it as it is.Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 09:57 PM
@ 70 You are absolutely right pointing out ALL THE GRAPHICAL GLITCHES AND PROBLEMS WITH BF3. Not only that it has a shitload of screentearing to boot. The COD series, whether it's done by IW or Treyarch, will almost have more flare and far more polish than another sloppy game from EA and Dice. Personally, I'll never understand the love for the gameplay and why people say BF3 has better graphics.. IT DOESN'T. It has a different visual style and nothing more. COD is still far more polished and has damn near pitch perfect controls and aiming... Something I can't say the same for BF3. It doesn't matter, I don't support EA games anyhow. And have grown tired of Military shooters as well... almost to the point of Halo, Gears, and COD being all I could need or ever handle.Friday, February 24, 2012 @ 03:02 AM
IW should do the multiplayer and the campaign treyarch should do a zombies mode for the game and all will be well cause old timey guns r boring and the graphical approach treyarch has to its cod's sucks also treyarchs "innovative approach" such as making u buy stuff u unlock is stupid if they do this it should be fine :)Friday, February 24, 2012 @ 03:13 AM
think its funny how many people complain about COD and then will prob go out and get it day 1, tbh i'm fed up with every1 hating on it, like how on this article people have thumbs down for supporting the game, if u hate it that much why not just ignore it rather than saying how much you hate it. i couldnt care less about a new one coming out, i'll prob get it when its cheaper. also why bring bf3 into this as well, that game was ok but it tried so much to be like CODFriday, February 24, 2012 @ 06:43 AM
@90 Your right sales don't mean everything, but if you read all of my post you will notice that i also put it's the MOST PLAYED GAME ON MULTIPLAYER now considering it's the most played game i believe that more people prefer MW3 to BF3 but in the end of the day it's all down to personal preferences. Besides if you do hate COD so much why are you here? Is there not enough to talk about on the Battlefield 3 forums? Haters need to realize that we don't care about you pathetic points, just leave the COD forums to the COD playersFriday, February 24, 2012 @ 07:18 AM
@8 they call that DoomFriday, February 24, 2012 @ 11:07 PM
why can't they just stop with this garbage? im tired of playing the same god dam thing every year.Monday, February 27, 2012 @ 11:47 AM
People hate World at War because they couldn't complete it on veteran.Wednesday, February 29, 2012 @ 08:44 PM
be awesome if they made on together
Thursday, February 23, 2012
Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward has said that it intends to collaborate on future iterations of the Call of Duty series with Treyarch. Typically, the two studios steer clear of each other’s projects. Indeed, there seemed to be a healthy rivalry. But now it seems we can expect increased collaboration.
"When we do something really great it would be good for theirs, and when they do something really great it would be good for ours, so I think you are going to see a lot more of that. We're taking in feedback as a franchise as a whole, not just our individual iterations any more," said Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling.
He’s keen to stress that they remain two separate teams, however. "I think there will always be a lot of communication back and forth. At the end of the day we are two different developers and we have different opinions about the games we make and the games they make."
So we've already had Gun Game and One in the Chamber in Modern Warfare 3. What next? Zombies in MW4? Spec Ops in Black Ops 2? Ezio in SoulCalibur? Wait. What?
[Thanks OXM]
