| You can earn all the content in game. You can just pay MSP to unlock them early is all. Obviously the ones harder/longer to obtain, the steeper the price |

The items are all in the game already. This just unlocks them early because they made them expensive/hard to get in-game. It's bad enough the game isn't really worth $15 to me, but for them to seriously try charging this much for stuff you can unlock naturally is just absurd. I don't know why that's an option/why people buy those kinds of things. D: Like with Katamari. It's bad enough when they are charging for stuff that's just locked out, but buying stuff you can get naturally? Ugh. |

I was flipping through the DlC for this on the dashboard and started adding it up in my head, which due to the MSP exchange rate got a little confusing, and it's over $206 of content. I was glad to come on here and see that it's all attainable via game unlocks but it's still ridiculous. I mean even the whore that is Electronic Arts sells you "Unlock all item" shortcut packs for around ten to fifteen bucks. I don't like how much space it takes up in the add-on section of the store either, almost all 100 spots. Lastly for any of you who haven't purchased a multiplayer only shooter for the XBLA, be warned and be careful, in a month there will probably be about 70 people playing this worldwide, a month later probably around 12. |

To the people saying that it's pointless to release these items for sale when they're unlockable in the game, I strongly suggest giving the matter two seconds of actual thought instead of posting a dumbass knee-jerk comment. It may seem pointless from the gaming side of things, but for Microsoft, Monolith, and Warner, it makes perfect sense. It's all about making more money, and whoever whines about "greedy" companies is absolutely stupid. If people are willing to pay for these items instead of earning them in the game, the three previously-mentioned companies certainly should be there to take that money. I'm actually a bit surprised that this type of thing isn't done far more often. |

The "gear" has no stats, so dont worry about that. But in the beta it said that you can buy weapon nd mod unlocks instead of earning them. I hate that people are complaining about the dlc though. I've played this game, its gonna be what $20? Fair price. They offer items for $1-$5 for any one that wants to spend the money but they still let you unlock it by playing the game. So whats the problem? They are catering to hardcore and casual gamers and thats fine. If you need to start out day one with five custom loadouts and all the weapons that doesnt bug me at all, I can wait and rack up kills just like I did in the beta. Also you unlock weapon mods quickly and earn exp even if you loose, if you cap a point you get exp, you get a kill exp, compleate a feat exp. You unlock things by leveling up. Being able to buy these things wont unbalance the game, so if your not going to buy these things dont worry about it. |

It was a sea of Yellow and Black when I went to the Add-ons section yesterday. Makes a change from seeing the Rock Band Boxart for once I suppose, although they need to sort out shit like this, so it doesn't happen in the future. As i've mentioned recently on here, a sub folder or something similar is needed. I thought that's what the Rock Band, Guitar Hero & Lips Store Apps were for? |

| It can all be unlocked in the game through simply playing. Also to those saying people can pay and have 'top gear' on day 1, that's not the case. From what I played of the beta the weapons and equipment just allow for different playstyles, as opposed to being 'better'. |

Oh damn, I thought they put out lots of first week DLC out. I would've been happy once I got the game. This reminds me of a couple of games, mainly recently WWE games where you can download an unlocks pack to automatically in the game. Where it's useful in those games, I rather just play this game and unlock the stuff for it for free. |

IMO since they were already lazy as hell as far as creativity goes in apparel if you have the money to blow for this you should get both Jokerz and Bats for the same piece of gear purchase. (example: Penalty Boxer gloves and Slap Happies are the exact same pair of gloves just different faction and so they should come in a pack 2 for 1) Just sayin. |
