This game looks really good and I am very positive about it for the most part. I played the first one a bit and liked it. However, their use of the word "adaptation" bothers me. To me, that screams "dumbed down". We will have to wait and see how it turns out upon release, but I really hope they don't cut story or mature content just because it's on 360.Friday, February 03, 2012 @ 12:29 PM
@ 7 Yes, and your fired. :D OT: Can not wait for this game, the last trailer released was amazing. If you've not seen it yet, I highly recommend watching it: http://www.xbox360achievements.org/news/news-10685-The-Witcher-2-s-Opening-Cinematic-is-Bloody-Brilliant.htmlFriday, February 03, 2012 @ 01:44 PM

Can't wait to finally play this in April.Sunday, February 05, 2012 @ 02:57 AM
I need something more to get excited, the 'unique'art direction they speak of looks generic as does the entire video of repetitve combat clips on offer here. The graphics look great, but looking at the guy running through the woods, it doesn't look as open world as it would first appear. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks a little generic to my eyes, like Arcana 4 or something of that ilk, not bad, but seen it all before.Sunday, February 05, 2012 @ 12:51 PM
Pre-ordered Dark Edition for €75,- :)Sunday, February 05, 2012 @ 04:27 PM

Heard about this game in early Janurary and have been excited about it ever since. I pre ordered it the 2 days after the announcement for the release date. Cannot wait to play it. Hope they keep doing the Dev Diary's like they did for the pc version.Monday, February 06, 2012 @ 01:47 AM

A new rendering system, a new intelligent camera system, new controls, a new targeting system, a console-friendly user interface, all-new bonus content... When developer CD Projekt Red says that this is The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition, boy, do they mean 'enhanced'.
Not only will the game's visual fidelity almost measure up to its PC counterpart, but new events have been added to The Witcher 2's final chapters, so that the story is easier to comprehend. You're Geralt, the titular Witcher, who's a mercenary and ultimate warrior, which means he can kick ass with the best of them. That's pretty much all we need to know right now.
For a rundown of some of The Witcher 2's enhancements that CD Projekt Red will be bringing to the Xbox 360 Enhanced Edition, check out the new developer diary, which also boasts a load of gameplay footage to ogle, and promises that there'll be more additional content announced ahead of the game's launch. What's not to like?
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition is out on April 14th in North America and April 17th in Europe.
