was hoping for black op's stuff instead i get this, i ain't paying £20 for 200 achiement point's and a load of maps i'll never play on, i wouldn't mind a lack of black ops stuff if it wasn't a half arsed sale, wheres the world at war,cod 2 and 3 content, where's the cheaper cod 1 for arcade or avatar items
it's like the gears content yesterday they could have put the gears 2 stuff on sale aswell as half the price of all weapon skin bundels rather than jut the big on
the only ones that have been woth it so far is the sonic one where they had huge deals on everything, perhaps the fallout and red dead ones aswell |

Terrible. I've been pretty quiet about some of these deals, but this is just pathetic.
At the very at least I expected Black Ops maps on sale. In fact, I expected MW2 packs to go down to 400 points, and Black ops packs to be 600-800 points. I mean, you're getting rid of DLC for your old game, if you had them priced at 600 in a sale quite a while before MW3, the next logical step to shift them is to lower them even further, especially now MW3 is out.
Whoever made this deal, Bravo. You've trolled us all. |

this is terrible. the last few yrs they have had call of duty map packs on sale the week before the new game.
This year nothing. And they would do it again at Xmas. What the hell is going on?
They already missed out on massive sales by doing it the week before MW3 but now most Callofduty fans have MW3, prob saving their ms points for those mw3 map packs. So when or if they do Blackops map packs cheap, they wont be getting many sales.
I bought the WAW map packs the week before MW2, played them loads that week, then MW2 came out, havent been on them since so glad i didnt buy them full price. |

| So the last deal of these Christmas sales is, a deal we've been given a couple times before? What? We've been given the chance to get the COD4 map pack 50% off at least two times before. If we didn't jump on that one of those times, why would we do so now, 4 COD games later? Same with the MW2 map packs. They've been on sale for half off once or twice before, why would we now jump on that when MW3 has just come out? If you wanted people to buy the two map packs from the previous game in the Modern Warfare collection of the COD series, you should've given a better price than they've been before. I'm not paying $7.50 per map pack for a game that's as low in population as MW2 is. |

| Everyone keeps rage hating Microsoft. There have been a few good deals so far. Gears 3 pass, Forza 4 pass and Bastion. The COD deals are horrible I agree. | I am disappointed I didn't jump on the Bastion deal the first day, but did get it cheaper on Steam. I was really hoping for much better. It's a bit sad that I bought more games for my PC than I have for my 360 due to the fact that I am not much of a PC gamer. I'll wait for the EA sale, but my expectations are not high. |

These deals are not catering to people who have had their xbox and xbox live for years to come.. there are probably millions of kids that just got there xbox this christmas and are taking advantage of these deals.
I remember coming from PS3 to Xbox.. and there were the deals for Uno, BF1943, UNO Rush.. and some other games.. and i snagged all those up.. albeit, those are just Arcade games.. they were still half off and old games.. and i was happy to pay for them at the price.
But it still sucks that they didn't really give us any deals.. the FM4 was the best ones IMO.. but i already have the Season Pass.. |

| Usually pick up lots of games at Christmas. Actually bought 4 1400 points cards when Walmart had them on sale for 2 for $30. Didn't buy a single thing this year. The fact is, in future I wish they would just tell us the damn daily deals ahead of time, so we know what to expect. If I'd known some of these deals would be this poor, I would have sponged out more money on some of the earlier deals (Fallout and maybe Bastion)
But because I expected Black Ops packs to be on sale, I skipped getting some of them. Turns out that was for nothing. |

| I'm glad to see people are finally agreeing that these deals sucked! the previous deals posts were filled with 'stop complaining just cuz it's not something you like' but tbh, it seemed like these deals were made for the people who just got Xbox this Christmas. I like all genres of games and still nothing here appealed to me and like most others said, the few good things on sale were things that us loyal gamers mostly already have. | Just checked out the prices of the on demand games. Not sure why they only went with 25% off.. COD 4 was on sale all last week at Walmart for $10. so why put the game on demand version for $15? I don't even get a disk with it.. |

| I'd rather have CoD2 and CoD3 DLCs on sale then these. Why would I go back to MW1 and MW2 when I can play MW3? Worst CoD Deal ever. Maybe add the black ops ones in there would have made it worth while. Saved all my MSP for nothing... thank you and goodnight! |

| Well what do you expect last time of the year wait until it's January again and the new stuff comes out like in March we got Max Payne 3 Silent Hill Downpour Mass Effect 3 and all that sort of stuff so i ain't really complaining plus Happy New Year all and i hope you's have a great one and a great time been a quick year. |

OT: Damn, this is easily the worst twelve days of "deals" that Microsoft has done. I don't know exactly where to place the blame between the publishers and Microsoft, but two (Bastion & Sonic) good days out of twelve is a failed promotion, period. I know you can't have it all, but next year, Microsoft better put up quality sales for 12 Days of Christmas, 8 Days of Hanukkah, and 7 Days of Kwanzaa just to make up for this waste. |

| The ONLY thing that was worth a dam was the discounted Gears 3 Season Pass on Firday. Other than...who gives a shit about anything M$ put on sale. They are terrible...seruiously. | Wake up call people, this is exactly what Activision wanted. First leak what the deals theme is i.e. Call Of Duty content, gamers first thought oooh surely the Blops map packs will be 50% off =)Second gamer runs out and stocks up on ms points for said deal. Third Acti shang-hi's said gamers by reducing sh*tty content for earlier CoD game that would never get purchased without a price drop. Gamers despair and pay 1200ms points for said Blop's maps as they have horded points and there is little else to buy Acti wins they were never going to reduce dlc that is still selling for 1200ms points week in week out, they are a f*cking cancer people spend your ms points on some decent arcade games from dev's who are working hard to provide quality. Some terribly shoddy deals this year.
Nothing they offered even came close to what Steam did this holiday. The only thing I would have considered is Bastion if I didn't already have it. The rest was pure rubbish. |

| Granted the deals themselves were nothing to write home about, and there wasn't anything I wanted, but the absolute hate and anger being directed at whomever here is brilliant - Microsoft didn't have to have any discounts over Christmas, let alone twelve days worth, but people are getting positively vitriolic over them. I see the Christmas spirit is still alive and well. |

| There were a few deals worth it for a few of the arcade games this year, other than that, the last time the deals were awesome was 2009. And all the statements about 12 deals thing, same can be said about summer of arcade, fairly poor this year as well, as opposed to the summer with splosion man, shadow complex, turtles in time, trials hd and the maw. THAT was a solid string of releases. |
