| I missed out on this as I never had a Mega-CD so I will be downloading it first thing tomorrow. I can't wait for some more classic 2D sonic, it looks awesome. Definitely can't be any bitching about the price with just being 400 points! |

@7: I agree I'm still waiting on SEGA to announce SA2 since they said they would come out with more Dreamcast titles like they promised when they announced Sega bass fishing, Space Channel 5, Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi.
OT: I thought for sure MS would price this at 800 and possibly 1200 but its good to see 400. I have yet to touch Beyond Good & Evil from the Black Friday sale as well as my backlog so this will have to wait. Good price though :) |

| I will take a look at this. I'm a Sonic fan and have been since Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the sega mega drive :D Although I have taken a departure of the games because of the so many bad ones I may be getting Generations for Christmas :) Then if I enjoy this I'll get this aswell :D I'll check this out ^^ |

| All of you have made good points on this. I love the game first off, and even have a physical SEGA CD copy of the game. I agree especially with Jay Leon Hart; Knuckles Chaotix should be the next project. |

This is the price it should be - it's very much like Sonic 1-3 and S&K, just with a better quality soundtrack.
Not that it's not good - it's a brilliant game. But it never should of been more than 400MSP anyway considering the pricepoint of the other Sonic games. :) |

| @49 Those were ports and not only is this technically a remake, it's also a game that is rarely rereleased. Sonic 1/2/3 are always released together but Sonic CD isn't so the demand for it is likely greater, and the first rule of business is the more the demand the more you charge hoping to hit the sweet spot of maximum profitability. |

Before christmas, for a decent price, and hell, for most people that did not play the best Sonic EVER made for a poorly and shitty Sega Genesis expansion.

| Ok this is not cool, why did they take out the songtext in the intro of the game, I remember it from playing the Pal sonic cd, the Toot Toot sonic warrior song. I got it on the pc anyway, but still would be nice as i play the xbox more. If you dont wanna pay for old sega cd games just download the Kega fusion emulator on the pc and connect your 360 controller with a wireless receiver |

Why did anyone think this was going to be more than 400? All the MD Sonics have been 400 (knuckles even less if i remember) and with the likes of Guardian Heroes being 800 (consider a good condition retail copy can be more than £100) then you must be nuts to believe otherwise.
No need to rag on the 1200 point games either, some arent worth it but alot are just like retail titles. Also most are built ground up and require more work then an emulation of a near 20 year old game. |
