Sonic 4: Episode 2 Imminent? Spotted on Korean Ratings Board

Looks like Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 is gearing up for release. A rating for the game has been spotted in Korea.

First noticed by Siliconera, the fact that the downloadable sequel has passed through the Korean Ratings board suggests that the game will be released in the next couple of months. As evidence of this, Siliconera point to a rating for another Sega game for which a rating has appeared today; Anarchy Reigns. That game laucnhes in January 2012.

All the indications are then, that Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 will be rolling his way to us in the new year. We'll bring full, official confirmation as soon as it hits.

As much as I love Sonic, knowing how crap the first one turned out to be makes it hard to get excited over this.

i'm excited. just bought episode 1 the other day, got all of the sonic games except the newer retail "sonic the hedgehog" generations and unleashed.

i enjoyed episode one, even tho it was a weird thing seeing sonic set in the classic worlds but looking all new. hope episode 2 is even better. knuckles or tails maybe?

Mr. Bradley must have been very excited of the news of Episode 2, because I see a spelling error and a grammar mistake.

Example: "we we" and "laucnhes".

#1 is an idiot. Anyone who says Sonic 4 was bad is nitpicking at tiny things. In fact, the overall quality of Sonic 4: Episode 1 exceeded Sonic Generations. Why people can't see the obvious with this is beyond my comprehension.

To everyone out there I highly recommend sonic generations it's the best sonic game ever for 360 and it's so cheap also. I would love a jet set radio future remake or new would be excellent.

Sonic 4 Episode 1 was a good game, but had terrible physics and was painfully short.

It also reused classic level design instead of new stuff.

Having said that, I liked the game a lot and it was a step in the right direction (but Generations did it WAY better).

Hopefully Episode 2 expands (more stages, less copypasta, Generations physics and not as easy/short) and is even better.

I also hope Tails is playable, honestly. Especially after we're getting him in Sonic CD.

The only way this game can be remotely redeemable is if the physics are resolved, the stages aren't rehashes of the original 3, the music is actually good, stages are longer than 45 seconds, and actual new special stages. So basically everything.

The physics and level design could use some work but overall I liked Episode 1. Here's hoping that they learn from Sonic Generations and do it right this time.

I personally loved Episode 1, it was fun but also challenging and took me a good while to unlock all the avatar awards and achiev's. Sonic Generations is also awesome as hell, i hope to see a sequel to both eventually.
