Marathon: Durandal DLC Achievements Revealed

Marathon: Durandal DLC Achievements Revealed
Written Tuesday, May 06, 2008 by Alan Pettit

There hasn't been much in the way of news about the upcoming Marathon DLC, but what we do know is that it should consist of both single and multiplayer content, including a new map called "Duality" straight out of Marathon: Infinity, apparently in what will be called the "Total Carnage Netmap Pack."

However, thanks to sharp-eyed forum goer doom3killer we now have updated our achievement list here with the 3 DLC achievements, adding the full 50 points to the game.

Thing What Kicks    20

Kill a Juggernaut in Survival and live to tell the tale.

King Pfhor a Day    10

Outscore all the other players (at least 3) combined in a KOTH or KTMWTB game.

You Think You're Big Time   20

Win a multiplayer game with at least 4 players in every map in the Total Carnage Netmap Pack.

I don't know. Marathon: Durandal was really confusing, I always got lost. And nobody played multiplayer, all the rooms were empty.

multiplay was only fun with mates on split-screen coz even though you could see your opponents screen you still did not know where they are lol

Well I think it's cool.

So long as it's free or cheap.

It's a good game. So there!

To bad they didn't release the "Fun Factor" DLC. This game sure as hell needs it.

They fixed the zoomed in view, I recently turned it back on and realized they went and fixed it on a update.

I already have the full 200 on this. These 50 will be a good add-on. And the game is pretty fun IMO.

people they fixed the field of view (from 90 to 120 degrees) that was causing the motion sickness just ONE week after the game was released.

DLC is nice but seeing they are maps from Infinity it worries me that we'll never see Marathon 1 & 3

As much as I'd love to see more Marathon, I don't think there's much chance of the other games coming to XBLA. I just don't think this game did well enough. Too many people slated it. Fools! :P

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
