| Of course there will be a fourth game. THQ doesn't not have as many high tier games as other publishers. |

As much as I love the Saint's Row series, I know it's only a trilogy at best... and they just broke one of my cardinal rules: Announcing sequels before the game is released. Serious deduction of points, THQ. |

well, i hope this doesn't mean developement time will be poured into a sequal, and some half assed DLC get thrown out, i'd rather have no DLC than something that was thrown together in lunch breaks, but time will tell, i've got the raise the funds to get SR3 first, lol |

Hey, that's cool and all, but how about talking about the game that is coming out, instead of how much "wilder" the next one will be? It's two of these sort of announcements in two days, what with the Assassins Creed article yesterday. Just makes people think you are milking things, to be honest. And how much egg will this dude have on his face if the game bombs? (unlikely as it may be, but using the demo numbers is no indication - I'm sure most people deleted it when they realised it wasn't actually a demo) |

| I love the saints row games they are really fun to play with all the things you can do and im looking forward to the third chapter but i can't help to feel a little uneasy about this video... A fourth being announced before the third are released seems to me like they havn't thought this game all the way trough, or maybe forgot something, new ideas being planed before the game is complete, it raises some questions in my head... |

| What has gotten into developers recently? Never the less, I will happily buy the 4th after Ive beaten the third to death. Perhaps this is just my opionion but they might try to release Saints Row the 4th just around the time GTA V comes out to see if they can beat them in sales. Could it happen maybe? All I know is that Ill buy both day 1. |

| @19: Actually I think that may be the only way to make the 4th game 'wilder' then what 3 will be. They'd proly introduce aliens to the mix and have you probe them and shit like that. If they don't go the 'space' route then they could go 'time travel' route and have you ride T-Rexs or have you assassinate Abe Lincoln with a AIDs ray gun or with a weapon equally retarded. :I |

This honestly isn't good news. I loved Saints Row, I didn't like 2 very much. I'm excited for 3 and I have it pre ordered, but the game hasn't even dropped yet and they are already talking about a 4th. If i don't like 3 then that will be it for the series. What's next Announcing a new Assassin's Creed before Revelations drops? ...... Oh Wait! |

| Wow, I miss the day's of the first Saint's Row with the MUCH better original multiplayer elements they had. With the ability to create gangs with your friends and let's not forget "Protect The Pimp" "Blinged Out Ride" "Big Ass Chains/Team Big Ass Chains" And "Gangsta Brawl/Team Gangsta Brawl" Perfectly fun well crafted designed game modes and maps.. As much fun as co-op was in Saints Row 2 It's depressing that they aren't bringing all that back anytime soon.. Ah well.. Saints Row 1 will always hold a special place in my heart being one of the very first Xbox 360 games I played with all my good friends.. Great times! |

@13 Why wouldn't they delete it? You can't do anything afterwards.... @18 Not really, the game could go a million ways. The Saints could just get murdered and then release a prequel or just resurrect from the dead and start getting there revenge on everyone else. Who knows with saints row endless possibilities. |

| This is plain dumb. Just earlier this year we were all complaining and rolling eyes when we heard about future DLC for a game that has yet to come out and now this.... It's starting to sound like Hollywood and I don't like where it's headed. Why don't you release a game first, support it with overpriced DLC like everyone else while working quietly on a sequel, before revealing it some time later? Is it that hard? |

| The video game industry is big bussiness and big money to the developers and the people in charge of them. Expect this to be the norm. They all see how much money the Madden and COD rake in every year, this will probablly happen with alot more game franchises we all love and want to play. |

SR4 won't be out for a couple years at least. This isn't as big a deal as some of you are making it out to be. Sure they could have kept quiet about it but they have to run a business. Anyone who is against this needs to look at this from a business perspective. SR3 has been done for a while now story wise, they have a some teams working on the bugs and polishing the game, but the rest of the teams moves on to the next project. Instead of splitting everyone up and having them work on different projects it saves the company time and money when they can just get to work on a sequel. They are already set-up for that game, everyone is familar with the series, and it saves time and money by not having to get everyone back from other projects and then re-setting everything up again. Game developement is a business, those businesses must be run efficiently. In a perfect world they would wait and see how the last game did first, but this is a proven franchise. |

I think I heard a while ago that the developers planned to make it a trilogy before they released the first or second game. Hearing that it's no longer going to be just a trilogy is great, but I'm surprised they announced it so soon. I seriously cannot wait until The Third comes out, it's going to be amazing. and I'll be looking forward to Saints Row 4 in the future. |

| saints row was good, SR2 better, SR3 should be great fun, but to be honest not sure if i'd want a fourth. same with assassins creed. where have they got left to go? medieval Europe? feudal japan? the stories in these 2 games were/are pretty much wrapped up. if you try to squeeze more story in you just end up ruining the experience. the only way to re-invent these games is to introduce a completely new storyline, but then theyre not really saints row, or assassins creed are they? atleast not the ones we've come to love... |

Sure its good that they are gonna make a 4th one, but dont fucking mention it like 5 days before the 3rd one is gonna be out. Focus on dlc maybe 1-2 months after release that brings MORE into the world, not stupid shit like the SR2 dlc that brought complete crap. And i still wanna be able to have a bandana over my face and a hoodie at the same time :/ |

what this means is all the dlc for 3rd is complete and couldve been released with title, confirmation we are being screwed out of content that is already complete. considering 3rd is a slapped together piece of garbage lacking content even from the second, character customization worse than the second, less quantity and quality on activities, campaign missions, and strongholds. i am completely disappointed with the quality of this title, and some others for the price they expect. its unbelievable that the price of discs hasnt lowered, or the games on demand prices. like call of duty and activision, i will not be purchasing any big name titles from THQ or any other saints row titles to come. thank you so much THQ |

| the assassins creed announcement comes as no surprise to anyone familiar with the creed franchise, not to mention they have entirely different offices and teams working on completely different titles at different times. overlapping announcements and releases are to be expected, and as i've said before, if the game is not garbage release as many titles and as much dlc content as you like, again, NOT garbage |
