Looks like Rare's having some fun with these achievements. Never played the original, but I miss good platform games, gonna get this for sure.

Some of the descriptions sound funny but I have no idea what some of them are talking about having never played the game but i'm definitely looking forward to playing it now :)

Easy 200 for me, got 100% on the original. I love this game so much. Can't wait for Tooie to come to XBLA, I love that even more.

Will be getting this with my Nuts and Bolts pre order. I'm a complete Banjo nut so i'll 100% it, if only for the sake of being a hardcore fan.

Seems like an achievable list...shame about the time consuming collect all notes and honeycomb pieces but I half expected at least one of them to be there.

Most of this you get throughout playing the game, except for the musical notes, which is not nearly HALF as bad as you guys who haven't played it would think.

This isn't a tough list really, but only because this game isn't too hard. But a FUN list to go with a fun game, cheers to Rare for making a nice list.

I would like some screenshots of this. I want to know if the quality of the graphics are any better or same.

Damnit. I'm kinda let down here. Nothing for all 100 Jiggies, nothing for getting all of the Stop'n'Swap items, (the eggs and the Ice Key). I got 100% on the original, 110% if you count Stop'n'Swap as extra. Oh well. I still can't wait. This and the Tooie were my favorite N64 games, no competition.

Oh yeah i bet you didn't know that this game will be free!

No seriously, the guys who are making the new one said that they are going to be re-releasing the old one free 'cos your so cool' which basically interepts as 'buy the new one and pay the difference!'

I'm Banjo veteran and in my opinion 4j Studios and Rare could have made these a little bit more challenging. Still a lot to play to get full 200. Can't wait for Tooie = )

Anyone knows what you need to do for that Jinjonator achievement? I don't remember any Jinjonators from the original.

Monday, October 06, 2008 @ 05:23:57 PM

@25

Yes, there were Jinjos in the first game too. I remember them being called as Jinjos, not Jinjonators, though.

I first hesitated if to buy this or not, but I think I might still buy it. I've played the game over three times already and two times 100%. Totally 100%, by my own. It was hard though.

But still the game is fantastic and unique. I think I'll buy it and after it I'll buy Banjo-Tooie which I have never owned.

i wish they could have made this a full 1000 points. this is a lot of gameplay for only 200 points! they could have got pretty creative with 1000

Expected one to be there for collecting all the Jiggies. Looking forward to playing it again since I pretty much 100% completed it back in the day.

!!! Slight SPOILER ALERT !!!

The Jinjonator is kinda like a joke of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and "with the 5 jinjos powers combined" they are the Jinjonator and give the final blow on Gruntilda at the end of the game

To be honest, this could cost 1600-upwards points, but I'm getting this no matter what the cost.
I loved this game when I was a kid and achieved all the achievements in the N64 version back when games were played for fun and for completionists.
Can't WAIT for this, I'm as equally excited for this as I am for my pre-ordered GOW2 =D
