Insane mode isn't easy if you play by yourself and horde mode is freaking hard. Epic developers said they can't even get past level 26, let alone you have to get to wave 50. 100,000 kills will take quite a while and 1999 rounds will take some time. True, not as tough as gow1 but I'm glad because that whole game turned into people glitching and ruining the mp because of going after the achievements, such as kill stealing and hogging the good weapons, and everything else. I love the first and this one will only be better. |

My only issue, but I say this before knowing what horde is going to be like: There's a few achievements that separate the ones with time on their hands from the ones that don't, but there doesn't seem to be too many that separate the men from the boys: beat game on insane difficulty in under an hour, for example. Although, beating all 50 levels of horde may be that achievement. I will see. Pretty excited. |

If every match is a 19 round game then that's about 6 games = 100. 120 games each 19 rounds will at least be 1800. So if your dedicated it will come within 2-3 weeks. I just did it then: 120 + 19 = 2280, so it won't be that hard at all. As for 100,000 kills, your bound to get at least 5000 going through the campaign on 2 difficulties (judging by if the difficulties are unlockable). If you get 20 kills per match, it will take....5000 matches. Really they aren't hard in the slightest, just time consuming. I have all the time in the world (before i get to Grade 11) so i'm good. |

I didn't even bother with Gears 1's online achievements, cos it just degenerated into a joke online. |

I think for the overall gaming public it will make it far more enjoyable. Nov. 7th can't come soon enough. To the guy that said that someone will get it done in a week. Sure, you probably could if you decided probably not to sleep all of about 3-4 hours a day and the rest of the time you played the game. The Horde one will be easy if you play on probably casual/normal. I will most likely play on normal for the achievement but definitely play on Insane just to see how far I can get, which is what the developers are talking about when they say they only have gotten half way through it. |

No ranked crap, etc. They really made this user-friendly and Epic really listened to the fans on this one. I tip my hat to Epic on this one. I don't care how long it'll take to get 100K kills and 2000 matches played at least I can do them in anything. Strange that the Seriously 2.0 achievement description says you can do it in "any mode" but Cliff Bleszinski said it's "only for campaign." Anyway I really like these achievements. Thanks Epic! |

Also finally I won't have to be a part of the GoW ranked community anymore because GoW ranked matches had the highest percentage and biggest group of complete d*ckwads and assholes that I could have ever imagined in a videogame. And now don't have to suffer playing ranked to get my Gears achievements. I give this achievement list an A+. Wouldn't change a damn thing about it. I just hope other games would make this kind of change in their achievements because games are supposed to be about fun not which gamer has completely no life to get achievements that take impossibly forever. |

The only "Bad" thing about it is that, as #150 said, it'll be good for a rent. Meaning that the person will only rent the game in order to get gamerscore on it and then bring it back. I'm not saying that he will do that but it's what I am trying to say, people are starting to rent REALLY GOOD games only for pointless gamerscore and it's disgusting, because games weren't ment for that. I only suggest to those people that they buy the game and enjoy it for what it is, not use it for some easy achievements. |

And also because these achievements are obtainable in every mode doesnt mean they are easy or they are not time concuming. They are the opposite they are very time consuming, and also I never thought Gears achievements were hard in the first place just in Gears 1 the ranked ones were a pain in the ass for alot of people cause of glitchers, boosters, KILL stealers, etc. The most I ever got in one game was 39 kills I wouldve had more but they stole a few kills from me. But now we dont have to worry about any of that for any achievement |

You CAN get 100k kills in Horde, Single/Co-op, and regular multiplayer. |
