I can honestly say I'd not even heard of this, but Silent Hill on the 360 can only be a good thing. Gotta love scary ass games, and they don't get alot more scary than Silent Hill |

#6 -- This is the sixth iteration of Silent Hill right? 5 on consoles, one on handheld, and that the movie was based off the game? If you never played the earlier ones, you've missed out, because this is the scariest video game franchise ever probably.

Sweet! I love this series, although, buying the new games from the Silent Hill series kinda make me feel scared and weird, they makers always through in references from previous games, anybody know what I'm talking about? |

well the achievements look pretty straight forward. maybe the secret ones will be beating certain bosses, making certain choices, like saving a character who is possessed or killing them.
but i'm just worried the US team working on the game are going to turn what was the last good survival horror series into an action game. |

It's a shame that people will pass up good games just because they don't have easy achievements. You can play for achievements, but you should play for fun as well. |

Alright, Silent Hill! The videos I've been able to dig up around the 'net look pretty spooky, so I'll give this game at least a rental. The achievements look kind of easy, though a couple look like they might take a while. I'll still play, though, just because Silent Hill kicks ass. |

This will be the sixth Silent Hill game. The first first four are on consoles, while Silent Hill: Origins is a PSP game. There are a few related cell phone games, but they're mostly, in not completely, exclusive to Japan. There will also be a sequel to the film . . . eventually . . . maybe . . . |

I've heard some pretty bad things about the preview versions people have seen. Silent Hill 2 was definitely scary but I don't know if it's the scariest series. Fatal Frame and Siren are pretty creepy, if you want a really scary game. |

#27 Chalk one up for team Epic FAIL!
As for the achievements, I'm happy to finally see a little but a little disappointed to see the actual list itself. Having played all console iterations of SH to completion I'm a considerably large fan of the series, they've all been great with the only lacklustre elements being the story progression in the titles, to which 3 and 4 rubbed me the wrong way a little...
Another area I'm dubious about is if it retains its slightly out of date battle system, so hopefully that may have some new intuative overhaul to make it a little more fresh...
As for the secret achievements, potential ideas when considering Silent Hill stem from say, "complete X puzzle", "complete hospital/school/orphanige", "completed on all difficulties", "obtained specific/all |

I didn't like SH2 that much. I thought the SH1 and 3 were the best of the series. Definitely the scariest, that's for sure.
Although Pyramid Head was probably the best enemy in the series. |
