Well, our first full day at Leipzig has almost been and gone. And what a day it’s been! The good news for some is that Routine and Joe’s luggage has been found. Bad news for Webby and myself, we now have to find new joke material. So after we left you last night, we all headed down to the bar for a couple of beverages. Whilst in there we ended up chatting with Jim Sink, who is in Leipzig hunting for new arcade games to put on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The chat ended up going on till 4 this morning, so as you can imagine it wasn’t an early morning wake up! When we did venture out, we headed to the mall for food. Wandering down towards the food court, there were people dancing and clapping. Suddenly we could hear a golden voice swooning away. We almost got lost in the excitement of realising we were witnessing the magical talent of Michael Morgan singing live. Such an experience I will never forget, and for those of you not lucky enough to be there, imagine this with a bit more cheese added: After this and my adventure trying to get a new cell phone sorted, we headed down the “Highway of Death” from our hotel to the Convention Centre. After sorting out our passes for the week, it was time for Penny the Plushie to make her camera debut in a video which will be seen as soon. So basically, we’re all set up now, getting ready to get a good early night so we’re fresh and ready to bring you guys all the latest coverage tomorrow. Yes, an early night. Just after we get back from the bar. I’ll now hand over to Webb for the coverage run down. Right... Here goes nothing... The Coverage: What tomorrow holds for us? EA, Konami, Activision, Atari and Midway press conferences. Hands on/presentations/interviews with Call of Duty: World at War, Quantum of Solace, Spyro, Crash, Prince of Persia, Far Cry 2, EndWar, HAWX, Shaun White Snowboarding, PES 2009, Rock Revolution, Borderlands, Champions Online, NBA 2K9, NHL 2K9. So as long as we're not too busy, we'll catch up with you tomorrow. Minty & Webby | |
