| This is exactly the type of achievement list that will lead me to not purchase a game that I would like to ultimately experience. MP achievements are the lowest common denominator IMO, and I refuse to support the developer and their lame attempt to "make" us play the MP selections that come with the game. No thank you. | ||

| Why the fuck are there mp achievements? WHY Crystal Dynamics? I don't play Tomb Raider for multiplayer. And before any of you say "well you don't have to play it." If I want the full 1000 like I got in the previous games (one of my favorite series) then yes, yes I do and I don't like it one bit. Why couldn't they do what Dead Space 2 did, which was include an unnecessary mp but have no achievements, allowing you to play it for a little bit if you wished or not. Instead we have grind away to lvl 60 in a mp we all know will not be popular. | ||

| Yeah, this list is extremely unoriginal. I expected a lot of secret achievements for storyline things. Not three. And I sure as hell did not expect to see so many tied to MP. I could get understand three to five, like Assassin's Creed 3 did (basically achievements for sampling what the MP had to offer) but this is ridiculous. Hopefully the game is more creative then its achievements. | ||

| #28 Really? New reboot Tomb Raider is quite short but not shorter then Tomb Raider Legend. 10 hours single-player campaign and quite lots of MP achievements plus level 60 MP. It's look like Gears of Raider now. Disappointed with Square Enix and Crystal with Tomb Raider. They almost ruin with MP and MP cheevos plus give new reboot Tomb Raider for short single-player campaign. :/ Still preorder it because look forward from many glory single-player gameplay as they look great from preview videos. Well still look forward to it but Bioshock Infinite, Metro: Last Light, Rayman Legends and other titles will be better then this one. | I alway buy many great titles no matter if MP cheevos in it but God of War and Tomb Raider is biggest disppointed of franchises so far this year because of their developers ruined it and put it with MPs. I very sad because I though and believe those franchises wouldn't have MPs but then both pop up last year with same news as ruined since MP info for them. | I agreed with some people here. Players should get game if game is great and do not worry about MP cheevos or MP modes in it. Tomb Raider and God of War is hurt me because it but MP cheevos based not kill you, drive you away or stop you get it. Just simply ignore it if you hate MP cheevos and just play for enjoy through single-player if game is great. If crap or medicore you can leave it out or wait for price drop either. :) Some of you don't have to but it is good opinion like me just buy game great and no matter what thing if ruined or MP cheevos as long as game is great. :) Square Enix and Sony already broken my heart for their franchises ruined and I never forget who they are. Lmfao. Not broken my heart in real life but it just way as i am fans of those franchises and they broke it so I became stop fans of franchises but still get games to look forward to play with anyway. | The only upside to the horrible multiplayer achievements included is that you know 99% of the people playing online at any given time will be boosting. This game is looking pretty good but if there was ever a game to skip because of the achievements list, this is it. This is the definition of tacked on multiplayer and being forced to grind. I mean even if the multiplayer isn't completely horrible, what are the odds it will actually be good enough to spend this much time with? | ||

| It's still a good list, there's a lot of multiplayer achievements but they are not tough and extremely grinding except of course for the level 60 achievement. | I find it sad how selfish people are. I'm not pleased with the MP achievements, but there are people out there (I know one) who love trying different MPs and want achievements tied to it. Who is everyone to deny them what they want? Play the part you want to play. If you are that obsessed over whatever completion % you have then you will grind it out like 90% of other games anyway. | Some ppl are questioning here why we are whinin' abt the MP cheevos. Tell u why: bcs it's an ACHIEVEMENT BASED site. If the achievement list is so terrible and worthless like this one, we'll dig it down under, but not the game itself if it will be good. Personally I'll play the SP part, then give a shot for the MP, if it will be manageable and fun, will go for it, if it will be so worthless, boring and a must for boostin' as I think, will sell it asap after the SP is done. | Was listening to the IGN 360 podcast and they didn't go into much detail as the game isn't out and can't talk about it but they didn't have nice things to say about it. MP mode should of been co-op survival mode. Also people don't get the effort shitted into this VS MP mode could of been better spent on the single player or co-op. | I'm still getting it and I will try multiplayer. If I don't like multiplayer then I won't play it. To be honest it's only 30 GS and I will not get butthurt over not completing the achievement list. | I'm most disappointed by the lack of story based achievements. They basically copied Uncharted's trophies which never have story based, except for beat game and the rest are all treasure collecting and tons of weapon specific kills. Add the fact Tomb Raider now has multiplayer which is very similar to Uncharted when they started doing it and there you go. At least Uncharted only made you play 1 game of the multiplayer for the trophy, reserving the rest of mp for DLC. I've loved the Tomb Raider franchise ever since the first one, and Uncharted is one of my favorite game franchises ever so the absolutely horrid achievement list will not stop me from playing the game. It's just an annoyance that I'll have to find a boosting party for the mp. Anyone want to boost, I'll post in the thread when game is available. | ||

| I came here to look at the achievement list and wow that's a lot of comments! I haven't played anything in the series since the ending of the first one absolutely ruined my experience, but was willing to give this one a chance until I saw the trailers. Just a quick look at the lists for Underworld, Anniversary and Legend lead me to conclude that this list is awful. Underworld: Collect treasures, relics, complete levels, a few level-specific achievements. Pretty good list. Anniversary: Collect artifacts, relics, complete time trials, stackable difficulty for game completion. Pretty good list. Legend: Time trials, complete levels, collect rewards; DLC: Collect relics and artifacts and complete levels. Pretty good list. Tomb Raider Reboot: Collect documents, relics, GPS caches (?), grind x kills with y weapon, a few decent MP achievements and then...luck-based MP achievements and cross-purpose achievements (revive a teammate for one, yet be sole survivor for another?). Too much collecting, grinding and MP for my tastes. The Level 60 achievement can't be argued for or against until the game is out. If it's like Seriously 3.0, it will suck. If it's like Transformers: Dark of the Moon it will take an hour. | ||

| My might other opinion I think it is need remove MP. Because not correct for Tomb Raider but they could put co-op mode for different side of story campaign, horde, challenges or missions based to play together and work together. I think this modes for Co-op is better. If they want put MP but better Co-op then. But my main opinion Tomb Raider should stick single-player only. Bring challenges and horde modes extra single-player modes to fun play with. Tomb Raider 2 should go back single-player only and force it. :) | ||

| #212, I agreed with you as Dead Space 2 showed example that single-player game have achievements for gamercore and MP do not have achievements since there many MP players don't care about achievements and wanna play in MP for fun and some want ruined in MP. So every single-player games should have single-player achievements only. Also they could put in-game achievements for MP not Gamerscore. That made sense. Also yeah again could put 5 or less MP gamerscore achievements. Tomb Raider really need those. It's not too hard for developers to pushed it for it or do it for TR 2. But if push game for delay because of this it is would be more costly. Crystal still big mistakes with it. I don't mind MP achievements. However I do like the possibility of getting all of the achievements in a game. Sometimes that is just impossible with MP simply because the servers aren't so good, or MP community isn't present. So if I'm unable to get these achievements, apart from minor handicap reasons like skill and.....well skill, I feel I'm missing out. Skyrim proved that you don't have to have MP to get a game to sell. At least the achievements don't seem as bad as I was expecting although the is still to may MP ones in my opinion | ||

| Like a lot of people, I was really looking forward to this game until I saw the multiplayer aspect. I just knew there would be MP achievements attached. It's great when developers listen to gamers and take their concerns into account - there was uproar when they announced the MP component. You would think they would have tried to allay our fears by not tacking on stupid achievements on top of that. Something else that concerns me is the complete lack of story based achievements. Does this mean that the SP campaign is going to be crap also? Judging by the amount of collectibles achievements, it seems to me that that's what we're going to be spending our time doing. Until I get more opinions once the game releases, I am definitely going to pass on this one. I'll probably just pass altogether! | ||

| Another point of contention I have with the achievements is the amount of killing-related ones there are. Since when has tomb raider been a shooter? What happened to exploration and the adventure element of the franchise? | ||

| @153 - The lack of story based achievements is definitely a letdown, but that doesn't mean the story mode will be crap. I fully expect the story to be really fun and exciting which is what I'm only interested in this game for. I mentioned it earlier in the comments in that they pretty much copied Uncharted's (PS3) trophy list relating to story. Uncharted is an awesome and amazing single player story experience yet they never have any story based trophies. Only treasure collectibles which require exploration, and many many kills with all the different weapons. | ||
