its that with windows phone 7 finally selling a few units (thanks to nokia) there is enough units to justify the title selling at 79p or 0.99 cents in north america as instead of only have 2 million people your trying to sell to we now have like 12 million so there you go.
@3 that depends from what I heard some users are reporting they will others are saying it will need a bit of reprogramming to work |

@4 It has been confirmed many times by Microsoft that all apps will carry over to WP8, including games.
I think the reprogramming myth is just folks confusing the small amount of effort it will take developers to port apps between WP8, Win 8 RT, and Windows 8, because they all use the same "kernel." |
