| @1 ignorant comment. Upset because your not fortunate enough to play imported games and probably too poor to afford an imported console. | ||

| #2 is right for one thing, also... Anyone else who's gonna even think of starting a flame war of import/racist comments, don't bother, or else... (I'm looking at you WG Zero and certain others.) | ||

| @4 its based off an anime like most Visual Novels are. and I doubt it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_of_Inferno | ||

| @5 I think you may have it switched, many anime shows that have visual novel counterparts often come from the visual novel existing beforehand. The link you offered even says so for this specific case. @4 There's a translated version available on the PC, but no achievements or anything. | ||

| Phantom of Inferno's a bit confusing. Yes, it started as a visual novel. It had two anime adaptations, an OVA and a more recent TV series that incorporated extra material. This new game is in fact a visual novel adaptation of the TV series. And yes, Cheesy12 is correct, visual novels are almost always original works. This is the only title that I can think of that's based on an anime series. Also, I suspect that the translated version he referenced is the original game and not this new one. As far as I'm aware this version is only on the 360 currently, but I may be wrong. | ||

| Why the hell don't we have a sustainable market for these kind of games in the US? I'm all for importing games but...I don't know. Not marketed for or directed at Western audiences, Japan sure knows how to keep some gems to itself. | ||

| @10 it's not even a dating sim, it's a visual novel about assassins. @12 you could always buy the anime on DVD/Blu-Ray. http://www.amazon.com/Phantom-Requiem-For-Blu-ray-Combo/dp/B005W2BWJ4/ It's more expensive than your typical box set because anime doesn't really have any way of making money over here besides disc sales, FYI. (No, there is no cheaper option. The original run was in 13-episode, DVD-only sets for about the same price, EACH.) You can even sample the first four episodes, dubbed, here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1137DF6B1A40E5EA Or watch the whole thing subtitled, here: http://www.youtube.com/show/phantom/videos Both are streamed by the license-holder itself, so they are legal unlike many anime streams on the internet. | ||

| This is odd... remember those few rare DVD games that you put in your actual DVD player and controlled with your dvd remote? Yeah, this is one of em. The box was white, very similar box art. Im holding it in my hand right now :p must have bought it maybe 8 years ago. | ||
