Bass Expansion is available now for 2400MSP.
"Download the Bass Expansion now to start learning to play the Bass today! Bass arrangements have been added to all of the supported in-game tracks and previously released DLC tracks. Not only can you play the bass parts of songs, bassists of all experience levels can also improve their skills with new dedicated bass technique challenges, tutorial videos and mini-games. If you don’t own a bass yet, you can still start now. The Rocksmith Bass Expansion allows you to use any 6-string guitar to emulate a 4-string bass. Tracking your learning is easy too, as bass progression is tracked separately from guitar progression. im sure i read somewhere that all europe versions of the game/bundle will have the bass dlc with it for free?
"The European version will also exclusively contain a bass guitar version, not available Stateside." Im guessing this is the dlc?

| you can use a guitar also as bass. (called emulated bass) you just use the top 4 strings. |

| WHY did they add achievements for this :/ Now I won't have it complete and I am not paying 2400 MSP just to fiddle around on bass a bit and get the achievements, and then never use it again. |

@15 - Achievements = Increased sales.
This is no different than any other game that releases DLC. That's like asking "Why do they come out with new Skyrim DLC and add achievements?"
If you don't want to pay 2400msp, wait until October when it's released on disc, get it used/cheap, and sell it back.
You don't have to be so butthurt about it. |
