Ladies and gents, squirrels and squirrelettes, it is with immense delight that today we invite you to our annual hootenanny - the legendary pre-PAX X360A and PS3T party.

The stuff legends are made of - or so we make you believe - the annual pre-PAX party is a chance for you to come out to a bar in Seattle and partake in a few beverages with us on the eve of PAX. The best thing is... they're free! Yes, we're buying you beer and all you have to do is turn up... and be 21, of course.

Taking place at the Taphouse, around the corner from the Convention Centre, we're going to be chatting, playing pool, drinking free beer and ringing in PAX 2012 with a delightful smile on our faces - we're nice people, that's what we do.

So if you're in Seattle on August 30th and fancy hanging with the coolest gang on the internet,* be at the Taphouse from 8pm until midnight and you're sure to have a blast.

*self certified, but if there was a test to measure it, we'd win. Surely. Definitely.

I'll be in the U.S., however I think I'm going to be in California, and not OR/WA... I will be in Oregon a week after though.

@#3 - When PAX East offers us as much of an incentive as PAX Prime to attend, we would consider something like this. Unfortunately, from a media and content perspective, when we attended PAX East last year we didn't get much content out of it. Granted, it's younger than PAX Prime, so one day, maybe =)

@#4 - You yawn at free beer!? You must be an infidel of some sort!

Free Pints, brings a tear to my eye i cant attend. Couldn't drink them anyway being 19, stupid America, its why England's still the best, a lovely low drinking age :)

So close, yet so far. I live in central California and if I wasn't married with three kids I would be there. The free beer from 8-midnight would more than cover the cost, LOL.
