	No guarantee on the release date. People have a misconception that the achievement list getting released means the game will be out within a month or so. Not usually the case. Win 500 matches could be tedious. Otherwise, should be a fun old school wrestling romp!

	The 8/29 release date is far from confirmed, as there have been plenty of placeholder dates that end up meaning nothing on Xbox.com, but it's also not completely out of the question. Just not sure they'd want to launch this the same day as Rock Band Blitz. They usually seem to try to stick to one big XBLA release per Wednesday.

	I just hope there's some variance on difficulty, unlike the iOS version. That was my biggest issue with that version (aside from the wonky controls that come from playing a game like that on a touchscreen). I never really got anywhere with it, because I couldn't really learn the controls with the AI destroying me. I guess this version should at least have local multiplayer, so I can always just play against a non-existent second person to figure out what I'm doing.

	Me and my brother played this game in the arcades in Burnley back in 93, 94 back then it had Hulk Hogan, Ulimate Warrior, Mr Perfect (RIP), Jake the Snake Roberts, The Legion Of Doom, Brett Hart, Ted Dibase the million doller man and so on. It had a Royal Rumble game mode on it which sometimes took a few 20p's as you get picked on by Andre the Giant and used as a rag doll by him. It was an awsome game back then and this new version will great too. I for one will be buying it because of the happy memories it will bring.

	It's been 20 years since I played this and I have a few facts wrong, It's Demolition not the Nasty Boyz, it wasn't Andre The Gaint that picked on me it was Eartquake because Andre was not in the game and Brett Hart is not in the game either. I got to carried away the with happy times and forgot who was in it.

	lol @27, you are forgiven mate, I too spent many a coin on this, one of my fave arcades from the day, so I understand you were caught up in the excitement, haha! Not sure what to make of this version tho, the pic shows Cena and Taker, so I'm guessing it's an updated roster. Absolute shame if so, but understandable I guess. If they REALLY wanted to be awesome, they could do an old roster, and a new one, just for kicks, Allstars style. Either way, it looks like a guaranteed purchase from me!

	@28 - from the info i know it has old and new stars in the game John Cena, Randy Orton, The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Jake Roberts, The Rock, Randy Savage. then they awere planing on alot of DLC with stars as such as DLC pack 1 Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Sheamus, CM Punk, Big Boss Man and a classic Survivor Series arena. DLC pack 2 Zack Ryder, The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, Sgt. Slaughter, Yokozuna and a WrestleMania XXVII arena DLC pack 3 The Road Warriors, Big Show, R-Truth, Christian and a WCW Nitro arena. DLC pack 4 Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, Eddie Guerrero, Mr. Perfect, Edge and the Raw is War arena. DLC pack 5 Cody Rhodes, Kane, Roddy Piper, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Sin Cara. 	Might actually get this. Looks like it will bring back some old memories of the more entertaining wrestlers. Plus the achievements list looks well easy, just a shame there is a grind fest on the cards.

	I will definitely pick this game up on day one just based on nostalga alone. Back in high school I remember pumping many quarters into Wrestlefest.

	I'm a bit worried about this game. Has anyone know whether this is a remake of WWF Wrestlefest or not? I would rather to play the true original arcade one than remake just like IPhone game. Take a good example of other game, Turtle in Time: Reshelled.

	@33 I thought the same. Terrible cover art, thankfully it's not a retail so if you buy it you rarely have to look at it(without throwing it in a drawer). Also 12 achieves, 400pts? Couldn't be a bit more creative?

	@40- Uh, no where in your post said that that was the iOS version and you said that was the info you had on the game. You even state at the end of your post that it is the same as the iOS version. Next time make sure you get your facts straight before posting things wrong.

	It's kind of sad that most kids these days don't know this is based off the original coin-op Arcade WWF Wrestlefest, which was insanely fun back in the day, if very simple. Yes, this doesn't look as good, and YES, we should see a remake of AKI's No Mercy instead, but AKI has not been with THQ for years. It will never happen, as sad as it is. I for one will purchase this just to pay respect and honor to all the hours this cabinet sucked out of me back in the day.

	@#46 - Not only is AKI not with THQ, they're no longer called AKI, and they no longer make console games. They've been exclusively doing handheld games in Asia for a few years now. From what I've heard, they're a completely different company now, so even if THQ could get them for a new wrestling game, it may not be anywhere near the same as the amazing N64 games that people loved.

	used to lose lots of money back in late 80s- early 90s(played both wrestlefest and Superstars) always while waiting for kebabs to be made at the local take outs,i look at this game and i can't get out the image of Shish or Doner Kebabs.
