| @2 It's also on PC. I've been looking forward to this game, I'll grab it if it's 800pts. If it's 1200pts I'll wait for a DotW. | ||

| It was a pretty fun zombie game to be fair. Played it on Steam. Top down arcade type car combat with hordes of undead and you have to fulfill missions like picking up people and escorting them to safe zones. | ||

| Will be giving this a look for sure. Really fun game on PC. I just hope it doesn't get released the same time as Borderlands 2. | ||

| @8 things are cheaper on pc because most people pirate them anyway. | ||

| Not like we can't pirate them on the xbox, i do it all the time. So thats no excuse, in fact a majority of the time, prices go up DUE to pirating. | ||

| @9 things are cheaper on PC because games are much easier to distribute. Your logic makes no sense, if anything games should be more expensive due to pirating. MS charges an arm and a leg just to release the game on their service and then title updates are ridiculously expensive. Smaller devs can't afford it basically. Steam is much more friendly to developers. The cut isn't as large (at least that's the rumour)and content updates aren't stupid expensive (they may even be free but don't quote me on that). That's why they can get away with charging less for their products on clients like Steam and such. Plus then companies like Steam have amazing discounts if you're patient enough so you can end up snagging some really great games at great prices. Don't get me wrong, love my console and handhelds. This post may come off as a bit too pro Steam/PC but whatever. | ||

| @9 MS and Sony require a royalty payment for each and every copy of a game sold on their system, that is why games are more expensive on console. When the game is sold on PC, developers and publishers can sell the game cheaper because they don't have to give MS/Sony a cut of each game sold. @12 Exactly. I wish MS and Sony would open up their services to developers like Steam does. The only way that would happen though is if Valve jumped into the console race. I think MS and Sony would be crapping their pants if they did that and would be forced to change their policies towards developers. Not to mention Deal of the Week would actually contain some deals. | ||

| 9 is right. Games on Steam are cheaper due to piracy. This works because the price is so low it's not worth the time to pirate and deal with finding working CD cracks and the like. When you can buy a game for a measly $1 or $5 or whatever, it's not a big deal so you might as well. MS and Sony don't care because it's much more difficult to start pirating, and it's easier to get caught. That is not to say it isn't easy to pirate on these consoles, but it's far rarer for the above two reasons. | ||

| Right, there is no piracy on consoles. And of course consoles do not have DRM, right? What is the difference between Steam and Xbox Dashboard? You have to login to be able to save games, and you cannot sell your digital games, The difference is there are awesome sales on Steam, and you can buy whole indie bundles real cheap, which can be activated on Steam. Steam is a platform, just like Xbox LIVE and PSN. And it is free. There is no advantage to playing indie games on consoles, apart from achievements. I can understand why people here would want to pay ten times as much just to increase their gamerscore. But if someone does not care about achievements, it simply is stupid to buy indie games on consoles. | ||

| @#14, Most games include a crack in the download. I downloaded this game on pc today to see what it was like and it had a crack in the download. It was $9.99 on steam. The game seems interesting, didn't like the feel of it due to having to use keyboard and mouse. | ||

| @14 Ok, let's say a game is $60 on console, but it's only $40 dollars on PC because of piracy? That's like saying if all games were reduced to only $10-20 it would stop people from pirating the games and they would instead purchase all their games. Lol, ok, I want some of what your smoking, it's has to be some awesome stuff. I never knew people who stole stuff did it because they wanted it for cheaper instead of not having to pay for it at all. I guess if stores lowered their prices shop lifting would be a thing of the past. | ||

| As already stated, its cheaper on pc because you don't have to pay for the game to be put in a case and shipped off to stores. | ||

| @17 Most games can be configured in the games menu to use a 360 controller if you have a wired or get the wireless receiver. Even if the game itself doesn't support controllers Xpadder works fine. Perhaps that would change your mind and have you buy the game instead of pirating it. Unless it's a strategy game then don't bother. Need a KB+M. | ||
