| when do i get to play this again?!!! also since you answered my wishes for bringing this to the XBLA, now bring Jet Set Radio Future with a Multi-player tacked on, cause i think it'd work. and after you answer that wish, please please please bring back Shenmue and Shenmue II, then please make the ENDING to the game which would be Shenmue III which COULD be a HUGE immersive world like the GTA Franchise, but they chose to not make it. | Shenmue and Shenmue 2 were shallower than a puddle on a summers day. The combat was clunky (strange as its basically like VF) and the whole "FREE" thing was a gimmick, a fun one but a gimmick. There just wasnt enough to do and on top of that the writing and voice acting were god awful. Tom was especially terrible, just who was doing that Caribbean accent? I loved the cut scenes though and the visuals were really good plus collecting capsule toys was great fun. 2 did improve alot on the first though i do admit. | ||

| Let's not lose our heads here, Shenmue and it's sequel weren't without their flaws, and it was a bit of a marmite type of game anyway. Those who liked it ended up loving it, and those who it's charm didn't work on... Well, all they saw underneath it's impressive exterior was a boring prototype for the sandbox genre. Oh, and the game to blame for the oversaturation of QTEs. | ||

| @45 - If you honestly believe Shenmue has no problems then more power to the super fan in you because it most certainly does. Up to you if you want to see them and i do believe you can be a fan of a game and see its flaws. Only blind "fanboys" and those who like to wear rose tinted glasses. | ||
