| What is the difference between a premium pack (like the Egyptians and Greeks) and a pro pack like this. Must be a big difference seeing as there is a big difference in price. | ||

| If I remember right, the pro pack starts you off at level 20 instead of level 1. | ||

| The pro pack is this one. And it is also the cheaper one. So wouldn't it be the other way around? | ||

| @9 Have you even played the game? It plays exactly. like. aoe. The basic game is AOE straight up. If you take all the customization, equipment and skill trees out of your mind, hell, if you dont even use them in the game... its still AOE. @Ontopic - For those who want to know about Pro versus Regular Civ The Pro civs start off at level 20 and do not include the unique level 1-20 storyline or achievements assigned to 'full civs' like the Egyptians and Greeks so far. Starting at level 20 means you start with Age IV technologies unlocked already. Level 1-20 takes about 20-30ish hours of gameplay and 20-40 is about the same (30ish hours). So the 9.99 price is basically reflecting half the amount of single and coop oriented gameplay you'd get with a full civ. And thats with only minor amount of looking for gear, trading, crafting, hunting down recipies, etc. And thats per civ. I've gotten more than my monies worth of gameplay out of the game so far and I've barely touched PVP. I cant recommend people try the free to play version out enough. Itll run on just about everything. You might like it or hate it, but if you like it, like me, its pretty snazz. | ||

| i miss the days of ensamble, where you used to be able to buy the game for like £30 then buy the expansion a year later for another 20 and that was all you ever needed | ||

| @9, I agree. I remember the hours I poured into AoE II. I even cited some of the historical information from the campaigns on a research project in middle school! I was kind of disappointed with AoE III because the campaigns were not only no longer historical, but were downright unbelievable. But there were a lot of improvements in AoE III that I did like. AoEO? I just can't get into it. Its not a bad game...but for so many fans of AoE II, its kind of a big DUH that the series is being moved in the wrong direction. Cartoony, no real campaign, historically inaccurate, and ironically very expensive. Like Halo CE, I would love to see AoE II remade. I would totally get it--I have more fond memories of that game than any other! | ||

| @15: I just updated the achievement list to better reflect the DLC you'll need to purchase if you want everything. Anything up top can be earned free, the rest are sectioned out accordingly. | ||

| @Pants (17) Might want to move the first four achievments you got there for the loot buildings (the fourty point achievements) down into the 'Requires Any Premium Civ' category. It doesnt say it requires a premium civ in the achievement description, but they are unbuildable by Free Civs. My brother was a free civ and I tried passing him my buildings, it wouldnt let him build them. They use 'Rare' (blue grade) materials and since Freeb's cant use blue items or above, it works the same way, they cant be built. That makes it around 100 points that can be earned without paying a dime. | ||
