| 10.000 points of damage is probably equal to 1000 enemies as 1 normal enemy has 100 damage points. Just go guns blazin' till you get the achievement. The list looks good, hope you can still collect stuff after the main game. | ||

| List looks pretty uninspiring actually. I guess it's good in that it will encourage you to explore everything, and use diverse weaponry to get the damage achievements, but the only particularly interesting one I see is the "Get banned from all casinos" achievement. I also look forward to the Hardcore mode, so I'm glad to see an achievement for that. | ||

| Guys, I just read about Hardcore Mode. It just makes the game (obviously) more relaistic. These are the four key points: -Stimpaks heal over time. -Ammo has weight. -The PC must drink, eat, and have proper sleep cycles to stay alive. -Only a doctor or a doctor's bag can heal a crippled limb. I presume there may be other differences like damage etc., but if not, 'Bazinga' ;D. So going to enjoy this game. Apologies for DP. | ||

| Get banned from all the Strip's casinos, very nice achievement. I thought Hardcore mode is what #45 said and you can change difficulty in the start menu like Fallout 3 (Very Easy, Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard). And this affect the damages and HP of enemies. I could be wrong. | ||

| I'm faaar too excited for New Vegas. Even resorted to playing FO3 again to "tide me over". Great looking achievement list, though the 100G for "Hardcore Mode" was announced a few days ago, but the rest looks good. Loving the "Cause 1000 Damage with.....", at least we've another reason to try as many weapons as possible and not stick to specific weapons. As for the "Discover 125 Places", anyone who plays Fallout enough should get that without a problem, so makes sense to keep that kind of achievement in the game. Roll on October . . . | ||

And all those 10,000 damage achievements, they are making you use unarmed/melee etc.. now, I almost never used melee and never used unarmed in Fallout 3, this time I am going to have too. | @5, Yes! I'm so glad about this. I'll do hardcore 100 times before I'll want to worry about keeping neutral for certain level ups. That kind of detracted and with the save system it was easily cheated. (I know, I did it) This way I can play however and let the chips lie where they fall. | ||

| I think the Karma achievements from 3 gave you reason to play through more than once and see different outcomes. I would have really liked there to have been similar achievements for this but to do with faction reputation. That way you would have to play through multiple times and i'm sure being with all the diffrenr factions would have diffrent outcomes. | ||

| I don't think any of those 10,000 achievements are going to be difficult. 10,000 points of cumulative damage from weapons is pretty easy. You can probably do it pretty easily later in the game vs. things like Overlord super-mutants. Even unarmed (ie. power-fist or deathclaw gauntlet) is pretty easy to get. I'll bet you can probably get them all before the mid-point of the game just fighting random encounters while wandering. | ||

| I'm glad there isn't any level or karma achievements. it was annoying have to stay neutral, saving just before leveling up, getting the achievement & then reloading & repeating the process. I guess I won't be getting the full 1000 since I wasn't going to play the hardcore mode. | ||
