	At last, this looks like it could be one of the first 2010 releases with a good level of variation in achievement difficulty. Im sick of getting every achievement in a game within a couple of weeks. It keeps me playing a game for much longer when there are harder achievements to work for.

	Just check the trophy guide on PS3trophies. The list is rather easy as the game is completely linear up until about 35 hours in. It's just a bit of a grind fest at the end for all the points.

	ff is the greatest franchise in the history of gaming. ff xii on ps2 was amazing. the rts factor will give great varity to the 360. regardless of achievements this will be an awesome game to play

	Are most of those secret achievements Stroy Related? Hope that gain every accessory and weapon isn't like the Lost Odyessey achievement where if you miss that one item then gameover for that achievement. Still looks like a Final Fantasy Achievement list with half there achievements secret, this game will keep me going back on it for a couple of months (thats if i want 1000G on this which is very unlikely)Can't wait for this game!

	I'm surprised to see so many story based achievements in a Square-Enix game. Almost 300 gamerscore for just completing the game. I'm a Final Fantasy freak, so I can guarantee I will get 1k on this one!

	@35 they could be harder to get the over 100,000+ damage it took me ages on FF10 running round "calmlands" on a chocobo to collect a item for that limit break. i sure it will be just as hard never underestimate final fantasy.

	@34 for the billionth time getting a game early does NOT necessarily mean mod or anything bad. Stores break street dates all the time for games. I had smackdown 2010 and FIFA 10 almost a week before they were "on sale" hell even gamestop did it recently on some high profile games. I'll bet if I went out tomorrow I could easily find this game LEGALLY. Do you really think stores get the game at 8 am the day it goes on sale?

	@ wardiephil1986 Broken street dates aren't illegal, just against typical company policy. The company can be fined, too. I've worked for Target, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Blockbuster, and each store was adamant against breaking street date. It still happened, especially at Blockbuster and Wal-Mart, and I promise the video game police didn't show up and arrest us. Hell, when Halo 2 came in three days before the street date, I played four player with the store manager, sales manager, and department manager after the store closed. Anyway, FFXIII's achievements look like you may actually have to achieve them. I look forward to eventually getting this game.

	@49 Should you be excited? Of course. Whatever you do, don't compare this game to any of the other Final Fantasies. You should really go ahead and play at least FF10. @54 Considering the game is mostly linear, there really isn't much they could of done that didn't have anything to do with the story.

	@61, its not illegal for us, the users. It is illegal for the company. I.E. Gamestop. The developers set a date, Games ARE NOT supposed to be released ANYTIME before that date. If those rules are broken then the distributors are subject to fines, and possibly being closed. Are you stupid? How would something like that not be against any rules? This is something that has stuck you are the person that talks shit for no reason, you take the game TOOOOOOO seriously and you hate life (which is okay because life hates you too). You get onto MLG because you think that you are something special, you try and try and try to be someone, when you are actually no one. By the look of your gamerscore (201,435) you either hacked your score, or you play WAY WAY too much xbox and you need a life, job, girlfriend, a diet, and again a life. seriously dude. just dont open up your dumbass mouth again. 	Ah hahahahahaha the no life thing, really?? I didn't hack it (lol) and i go to school 35 hours a week, and only get 6-7 hours of being able to play a day. I have baseball 3 hours a week, soon to be 10+ and I walk home with my friends nearly every day which limits my playing time also. Now for the question, what exactly are the requirements for having a life?

	Yeah, well when you are 14 and have that much in GS then i can speculate that there is ALOT of gameplay going on. I will guess he averages between 6-8 hours of gameplay a night. And i am sure i am right on.

	Bought mine on PS3 this morning, I've already returned it for a refund. I can't believe it doesn't have the option for Japanese Audio. £40 SE have done themselves out of for not putting it on, which would have required literally no effort whatsoever. I can't wait till I get this, although it won't be for another 2 weeks or so >_< Either way I think the achievement list looks good, most JRPGS on 360 have lists with a lot of incredibly difficult lists, I'm on 90G on The Last Remnant and I don't see that budging any higher any time soon.

	@83 its not that hard to build up your score if you make an effort. I got gamefly for a couple months last year and just from going through and getting some easy games I jumped my score up by about 40,000. And I work around 48 hrs a week and have a kid. If I had as much free time as a 14 yr old I could hit that high easily. And I only play about 3hrs tops a day.

	Maybe all of you people mentioning education should learn how to spell. And for those of you with wife/husband, kids, work, I understand your situation. Between my wife and kids and a forty+ hour a week job I'm lucky to have time for 2 to 3 hours a night, provided I don't have a new episode of something to watch. But I'll pick FFXIII up, I've played all the other including FFXI, and I'm sure it will great in its own way as long as it isn't anything like FFIX. FFIX should have been a show on Nickelodeon it was so childish.

	Usually JRPG's are the completionist's nightmare, but this one doesn't look too bad (for a JRPG). It's probably going to take under 100 hours to complete, depending on how much grinding you will need. At least it doesn't seem like you'll need multiple playthroughs (and multiple endings... Oh god, I hate those, when I'm being told a story, I want the ending to conclude it for real, not having multiple ones)

	Why would you not put Japanese voice acting with English subtitles. Even Blue Dragon has that option... Scrubby accents. Really annoys me.

	I have a full job, two kids and is a competing bodybuilder as a hobby and still have almost 90K gamerscore. Trust me i dont play much. Of course a boy that goes to school can haev 200K. And you dont need to have a modded xbox to play games early. Most stores get games a week or two before release. If you know a person working there you get the game as soon as they have it. I do, so i play games early. If you work in a game store its even easier.

	I always seem to buy big RPGs and never finish them. I have Fallout 3, Lost Odyssey, and now this to finish. Looks like I'll be busy for a while with RPGs.

	lotta secret achievements but thats a good thing when they are story related. im glad to hear that the combat system in XII is not in this one. my friend says this one reminds him of X, X-2 and VIII. to me thats a good thing. might have to get this soon.

	easily the worst game in the series and 360 owners were clearly an after thought. 13 was an unlucky number after all.

	Final Fantasy nerds pissed off cause this game blows! That's my song. I hope you all enjoy it. What ever happened to that FF7 remake? That was sweet looking ... this however is ... 'ho-hum?'

	Games actually pretty good, I like quite abit, and there's no emo characters. Combat is actually fun. Although I still prefer FFVII and FFI
