| @#18 yeah..i dont think they suck though i just think that it "annoys" them because they would HAVE to play online, where a couple of 100% guys i know just rent the game and complain that the length of time taking to get MP cheeves takes a while. I like the the achievements...so im guessing that the last predator mission involves you killing a Predalien maybe? getting this the day it comes out, game and achievements look fun. | Even though it doesent excuse the mess that Rogue Warrior and Shitshock 2 were they were brought in to be developed by Rebellions smaller studio but AvP has been done first hand in their main studio so I'm highly optimistic oh and also that model facehugger looks fucking awesome :D | ||

| Normally not a fan of multi-player achievements myself for the simple reason that alot of games have a generic unoriginal multi-player system tacked on the end. However i doubt this will be either generic or unoriginal and if its anything like the old AvP games it should be a lot of fun in MP so I have no problem with getting the achievements in this. I just hope the EXP doesnt reqiure Gears 2 level of grinding. | ||

| Nothing wrong with this list, but that's not what's IMPORTANT because this game looks kickass. #60 is bang on the money, too. I will get this game but not sure whether I will get it day 1 yet, I am getting BC2 on the 3rd of March and this is out on the 19th of Feb so I'm not sure :/ Hopefully getting to the top rank won't do a Killzone 2 or a Gears of War 2 on us (2 days or 2 million years). | Mutiplayer achievement's are the devils spawn because if you don't have xbox live you get royally screwed because you are completely un-able to get 100% Another reason is you have some dickhead running about with the sole objective of just getting achievements instead of helping out his team ect. | My issues with multiplayer achievements are multiple and I hope that nobody jumps on my back for these; - First of all, there is the issue of relying on somebody else's gameplay; for games that require you get to a specific place or perform a certain number of things in a single game, other people can prevent you from doing so. Look at GTA 4 - I just totally gave up on the achievements online after I realised that no matter how much I tried, there are always people online who - if in your game - will just drive the wrong way into you. | AWESOME I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS LIST FOREVER!! @3 even the ps3 has that same exact achievement @11 LMFAO I pity you and the xbl gamers just like you.. if your willing to not get a game cuz of online cheaves that just tells me you have no balls and/or skill... and im sure ur 28K is based off of offline achievements that people put guide videos to on youtube... am i right? lololol | ||

| Anyway, the achievement tiles are uninspired variations of each other. That seems to be Rebellion's trademark, though. The achievement list itself is a bit average and makes me wonder how much average experience you can get per ranked match. Moreover, it strikes me as odd that the only MP modes mentioned are death match and survivor. Somehow I don't think that's a coincidence. By the way, is the Praetorian that poorly-executed hybrid from the second AvP movie? If so, it'll be an easy kill since all it did in the movie was pose. | ||

| The tiles may be uninspired, but the achievement names are nearly all quotes from the old aliens and predator movies, now that I like! I'm still sceptical over how good this game will be, so here's hoping for the best. | ||

| #68 the aliens use swarm tactics to their advantage since having two fast enemies running at you is a lot harder to deal with than just one, marines have automatic weapons and health pickups that are instant (the pred must heal himself sacrificing all of his energy, and the alien must devour corpses). The predator is a different breed all together, since he has the power to kill nearly anything one on one but not enough health to all out brawl with his wristblades, so you have to pick off the stragglers using his superior vision to basically stalk prey. | for those curious on game modes, from what I've read there's going to be these: Deathmatch (free for all basically) Team Deathmatch Infestation (similar to Zombies from Halo 3 but player is Alien who infects the humans) Predator Hunt (player spawns as Predator, kill Predator and you become him next round) Survivor (standard Horde/Firefight type mode) | ||

| @ #1 & 2 Look at Cars: Race-O-Rama. There's an achievement for that. It's glitched and THQ has responded to emails stating flat-out "we are not going to be patching this problem". Hopefully Rebellion will code this one properly. THQ is a joke. | ||

| @98 There are a few reasons I don't like online achievements. First of all, some can ruin the game such as "Get 100 kills with X weapon". I will for instance refuse to use any other weapon until that achievement is complete. Secondly, I hate trying to get people together specifically for an achievement. It takes time and people may be uninterested, 2 people isn't that bad but even then it can be annoying. Then there are the "Get 10,000 kills" type achievements which I will want to get over and done with as quickly as possible. So therefore, I either boost it or play the game for much longer than I would really want to. Next, there are the games which people just stop playing. It gets very irritating when there is no way to get an achievement without organising a time to do it with someone | ||

Every game will not have achievements you like or want, that doesn't mean other people don't want the MP achievements, don't like it don't play it, but quit acting like a spoiled 2 year old that throws a fit everytime he doesn't get what he wants, and yes you act like this in every achievements comments section that has MP achieves. They put MP in Bioshock2 because their FANS asked for MP. You do realize that you said your going to be one of those "dickheads" running around doing achievements only? Congrats, your the type of player that people hate playing with and the cause of why they don't like MP achieves. | ||

| Tbh i can see why people think the predator will dominate, byt i dont think they have seen the controls / and multiplayer vids. The predators controls are very fiddly : 3 visions the aiming of the shoulder cannon the throwing disk the cloaking the jumping marker the wrist blades i feel the alien will be my fave - simple controls - much like the l4d hunter. | I love the achievements. Nice mix. Let's hope the multiplayer isn't bad or is screwed up, and this will be great. I wonder how hard Nightmare difficulty is. I like the get every other achievement achievement. It's basically a free achievement, once you get the others. Can't wait for this game, and I'm personally liking the Infestation mode. | ||

| well ya most devs arent adding the "get all the achivements" achievement it is already there with the Ps3 platinum trophy. So they are more so just lazy and dont want to remove it and place another achievement in so they just lessen all the other and make that one 50. Street Fighter IV had their's worth 0G... | ||

| Guessing the campaigns are going to be the same story from 3 different perspectives which is pretty cool. Main reason to play though is definitely going to be the multiplayer. Used to hate multiplayer achievements because I was forced to interact with other human beings once in a while but now I love multiplayer. As for choosing between this and Bioshock 2 have to go with Bioshock 2. Will get this eventually. Longest post ever! HAHA! | ||

| I like the list, the movie references are cool the balance of on/offline seems fair and the game seems like its going to have plenty of replayability also the source matter is something i would enjoy regardless of achievements. I think i will get this, but if i have to choose between this or super streetfighter4 i,ll have to think about it a lot. | ||
