| Not a very good list. Hate doing Brass Balls as its only possible using load/save all the time and will take away the fun of playing the game. The multiplayer ones is alright except for the rank ones that will probably require playing the multiplayer a lot more than anyone really wants since its probably no MW2 or Halo3 quality MP. | ||

| Good god, what a bunch of whiners. You know there's always the remote possibility the multiplayer will be really good given, you know, this the sequel to game of the year Bioshock. | @38 I agree wholeheartedly, I'm mostly addressing comments like "Oh, it has multiplayer achievements its going to suck." because those sound like people who only play multiplayer for the achieves. I would agree some devs get out of hand with it, but games like Gears and Orange Box that provide a solid MP experience and have achievements to reward you for getting good are that much better because of it. Its not "grinding" if the game is actually fun to play. | ||

| lol so many people complaining...the MP achievements are easy. None of them are impossible. The "rank" ones seem easy as long as the MP system doesnt level you up at the GEARS2 rate..give the game a shot at least, maybe you will actually enjoy the MP to reach 40...but i guess to many people care about the 1000 to much..stupid...i dont see how that "ruins" a game completely its just a couple of MP achievements.....that do not look hard at all...so chill people | ||

| This game is still a buy for me regardless of the multiplayer. If you don't want to do the mp acheivements then do them, it's as simple as that. Bioshock is a different type of experience in terms of first person shooter and the first one was majestic in my eyes. The list looks like shit, and in regards to comment number 50 you're on an achievement site, don't act surprised when a list is released and people are commenting on the achievements (zOMG amazing how they would do that!). Bioshock was fairly enjoyable, but judging from this list and previews we've seen so far, expect it to fall short of some of your massive predictions. One word: Derivative. | at #50 and #84....you two are the only people in this thread who actually know what they're talking about....how can people say that MP achievements ruin the game? MP achievements or just basic achievements in general have no real significance to the game, people just get too addicted to "achievement whoring" and dont really care about the actual game itself, and i think this amazing game would be more amazing if it did have MP which is a excellent decision by the 2K Team, in my opinion. I like to get achievements, but i aint going to cry because it has previous achievements, i myself like them because they bring back memories of the fun game and how i thouroughly enjoyed it. | This is an extremely disappointing list and very unoriginal to boot. BioShock was a great game, but I very likely will not be buying this. I'll need to see some reviews/feedback first. BioShock was wrapped up very nicely at the end, so I don't even see the need for a sequel other than to capitalize on the first's popularity and make some bank. As for MP cheeve's - I'm not a fan. | @142 but if the MP isn't any good, or not popular (even if it's good) then the only people who are going to have them will be boosters. Personally I don't mind MP achievements either way, but it sucks not being able to get the full 1000 if a game has shitty/unpopular/both multi. The problem with MP achievements is that unless it's a really popular MP game, it becomes hard to earn them legit, because matches are either filled with boosters, nobody's playing it, or the few that are playing, are amazing and it becomes harder to play because they know the game inside out (Lost planet: CE, for example) | ||

| hate multiplayer achievements and multiplayer altogether games are made much better without it games like afro samurai i loved going through game twice to get 1000g and love beating games on the hardest mode and not fucking get 10,000 kills on gears of war for a lousy 50g and an other compleation rate killer i was even happy enough to go through bulletwith 5 times to get 1000g and the 1g for doing it on hell mode. btw iam stoned (+dove) so if u dont know what iam talking about thats why lol | ||

| The achivements are nice and i think are a good mix of achivements i will just run into and some ones rewarding the exploration of Rapture. The ony part i can understand of people complaining about multiplayer achivements is getting to rank 40. That maybe be difficult but everything else is piss easy: Play and win a match. Get your first kill, save your first sister (bascically score a point in thier capture the flag). be or kill a big daddy online. Is these the achivements were a bitching about then we are really becoming a sad bunch. | ||

| This is a sad day indeed, I'll be honest I'll play the multiplayer. . . just not at the rate to get to lvl 40, I'm buying the game mainly as a follow up to the 1st. . . that good ol' fashioned multiplayer expirience. | I don't like the mp achievements mainly because I can not afford to renew my gold atm and even if I did my connection sucks anyway so I can't get 1000. Having said that I was always going to get this game regardless. I do have fears that mp may take away from the campaign but until I play the campaign I will reserve judgement. | ||

| Unfortunately I think Capcom is going to do the same thing to Dead Rising 2...a bunch of shitty tacked on multiplayer achievements. That for a sequel to the game that probably had the most creative achievement list on the 360. The reason multiplayer achievements sucks isn't because they take the time to grind, it is that they take no creativity. How often is it either "Win x number of games", "Kill x number of enemies, "Kill x number of enemies with the shotgun", or "Reach Rank x". That four item list likely encompasses 95% of all multiplayer achieves. Keeping achievements in single player makes for a more creative list...Bioshock 2 is no exception. | ||

| Achievements look doable, like the first game but 2k probably don't care about achievements and just want people to enjoy the game. MP, beside the fact it is a completely seperate story from the game itself and shows what rapture was back in the plasmid testing days. when it was announced with mp i seem to recall 2k's dev for mp/bioshock 2 said any game without mp seems to get passed over for ones with multi-player. But they sound like they put there effort into mp rather than tack it on without thought. I'll 100% this because Bioshock 1 was the best game I've played, MP is just another roadblock to get around on the way to 100%. Some people just want an easy 100% i guess. | Fact:- Bioshock isn't a FPS, The multi player will try to act like a FPS and fail completely. Why MP Achievements fail and are bad for the game in the long run. 1)Most people don't want to play the same game months on end, so leave or boost. 2)Boosting is boring as hell. 3)Boosting pisses the players who actually want to play the game off, and they leave. 4)Then the boosters leave. 5) Late comers you the game, this can be as early as a few weeks after the game comes out find the servers to be tumbleweed town and they cant get the achievements and leave. Net result nobody plays the game. Other than a few high profile exceptions, the majority of other games follow this cycle. | ||

| @240 so you know this game sucks now because of the MP? or are you just making assumptions? I can say you suck, and it will hold the same merrit because you haven't played this game and i've never met you. BTW both those games you mentioned also have MP? To everyone who doesn't want MP in games. They are plenty of single player only games, there are actually people who want MP in games. You are not the only person going to be playing this game or other games, DON'T LIKE IT DON'T BUY IT. Besides most of you probably rent games to get the 1000gs in so I doubt they are losing sales. Its a fact MP games sell better than games without it MP, especially if the MP becomes a hit(considering how big this BS2 is, the MP has a good chance), COD or GOW or Halo doesn't sell as well without the MP. | ||

| @229. To be honest, cod3 is the only hard cod game to get the full 1000 in. cod4 was the easiest, then cod:waw, then cod2. Have yet to play mw2, so will 1k that pretty quick xD | ||

| Anyone not buying this game or any other that they were otherwise interested in solely because they don't like the achievements should probably find another hobby. Let's at least wait until playing it before declaring BS2's multi sucks anyway. | ||

| Very dissapointed in this list. Pretty much the same as the first one but the cut out the good acheivments and put multiplayer ones in there place. Very uncool. But yeah i mean its bioshock 2 guys, this game will kick ass who cares what the acheivments are like! :D | ||

| whats the matter with you people? awwwwwwwww mp achievements, i cant buy this game now!!! i dont wanna play for numerous hours to get a acheievment or 2.....seriously......buy a mega drive or summat...its pretty obvious most of u dont give a shit about the game and its all about the gamerscore...and IMO mp is a good move, im going to thouroughly enjoy this awesome game....either this, mass effect 2, or prison break : the video game for GOTY =D | ||

| not bad as far as lists go really. MP achievements aren't as bad as most games just hope ranking up doesnt take 5 years. The first game had a pretty good list and this is pretty much the same :) if it's even half the first game it'l be worth my money. | ||

| If the MP achieves are such an issue, then boost them. Its crazyness to think a game wont be played because of achieves. Im as much an achieve whore as anyone, but a game like Bioshock should be played even if it had NO achievements. | ||

| @ 270 and everyone else who is saying putting multiplayer in the game (not just multiplayer achievements) is a bad idea. They've got a totally different team doing the multiplayer so the single player will not suffer at all! | ||

| First things first I will be buying this game of course as I don't care much about GS. The list however looks doable aside from the online ones as Im not a fan of online anyway. Not a bad list I suppose. | ||
