15 for 200G is odd. It's usually 12 for 200G, and DLC can bring it to 15 for 250G. |

#10 i totally agree. the rule was 200G with 12 achieves then 250g with 15 achieves. retail its 1000 with 50 than a max of 1750 but only 250G per dlc each quarter. since one of the rules are broken we should expect the other to be broken to. who knows maybe gears 2 will get another dlc and raise it to 2000G!!
i personally hope 2000G will be the max since its much better looking than 1750g. it makes sense too. retail game = 1000, dlc's (minimum of 4) =1000G
in the end the fact is more achievements =more money, so it make sense that MS would increase the cap |

Funny how a game comes out with slightly MORE achievements than usual and everyone starts moaning. I thought everyone on this website LIKED achievements? So more = good, no? What would you rather them do, make you pay for those extra three as DLC, or just give you 15 from the start? Exactly, shut up, stop whinging and either play the damn game or don't.
Regardless, MS tweaked the rules slightly on retail game achievements, what's to say they didn't tweak the arcade ones too. Considering some arcade games are getting pretty big now (eg Portal and Shadow Complex) I'd say 12 for 200 is starting to look too small. |

Is there no end to the bitching? Really? It has 15 achievements-get over it. Orange box had 99 retail w/o DLC. It's ok, seek help for your OCD if you must. It's just a number, it's not that big of a deal.
I hear you #16. I'd be fine with 20 or 30 achievements for arcade games and still 200 points. Odd numbers are fun!

i loe how you dont have a clue at all whats going on, people arent moaning, there simply discussing the ammount of achievements in a game, and yes, this game does have an odd number, noone said it was a bad thing (not that i saw).
also, about the "people here love achievements" comment, its the gamerscore, not achievements ;) and this still has 200, but 15 achievements... |

#16 and #18 are prime examples of why I don't even read the comments usually.
I did read these because I saw an actual discussion going on without all this nonsense.
Then I get to 16 and 18 and see people flaming and being flat out jerks. Get over yourselves. The adults were having a conversation and just like little kids, you had to step in with your ignorant, moronic, comments.
Where's the super mods that go nuts if anyone says anything derogatory to others? CovertDog? Creech? Shinobi273? (Wait, that last one flames more users than anyone, user or mod).
Why don't the mods on this site do their job? It's no wonder I have like 3 posts, you could say "the sky is blue over planet Earth" on this site and you'll get flamed by several people.

I found it boring. I'm definitely not getting it, cause well... it didn't enthuse me.
While it may be a game for you, it's not for me.
And for the previous jerks, I must say. I agree with 22, we're here for percentage and GS, not to amp up the achievements. That ruins our percentage, and well...it's a real bummer.
If you want to get this game, fine, if you don't, that's cool too. It's up to the buyer, you aren't forced to buy it either way. =) |

This game is part of the Games for Windows LIVE Games on Demand program. It is coming on December 15 for free. There is no Xbox 360 version that I know of. |

Comment #37 is right, this game, is not xbox 360 i dont think, its only for pc, its free, and it will be released december 15 for free, along with another games for windows game, Hold em' but that isnt live. World of Goo, and osmos, will also have achievements, but thats only exclusively for pc.
Tinker, World of Goo, and Osmos, are three new arcade games coming to Games for Windows Live
Tinker is free, but world of Goo and Osmos wont be.
But all three have achievements, and as far as i know, its not for Xbox 360 |
