@9: Here you go screen shots and a character trailer: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/samuraishodownedgeofdestiny/index.html

@2: I can't find a release date it is TBA right now, so it's probably coming out next year sometime.

Amazon and Gamestop pulled this game from their websites and the Publisher for the game in the US (Ignition) has been mum for months now Dunno if it'll still come out here or not. I'll import it, if not.

I doubt I'll be able to beat the game on the hardest difficulty with each character, and 26 kills survivor might be tough too, otherwise that is fairly easy for a fighting game unless those secret achievements are hardcore (1 pointer and 60 pointers in there).

Looks like they changed the whole fighting system, characters look way bigger then the old school versions. Hope they dont screw this up, I loved the old versions (SS 1&2)

hmmm....i am happy i finally invested in a stand alone neo geo with the snk games last year. i was looking forward to this game but i am really terrible with xbox360 controllers and fighting games. so i think i will pass until i see more on it. and the achievements are very strange indeed.

WTF when did they decide to do this & why go 3D? Samurai Shodown on the Neo 64 was pretty horrific & thankfully the series only foray into 3D Until this.

Still i'm glad SNK are still making games, I just hope they don't pull a KOF & take half of the characters moves away like they did in the latest iteration.

2D Wins over 3D for fighters (SF4 Is A 2D game In 3D Clothing)

they have taken a solid 2d series and made it into the style i hate most a 3-d fighter. After the disaster that was KOF 12(my apologies if you liked it) and now turning ss in to a 3-d based game SNK may just kill them self. they will still always know for creating a rare gem like Garou:MOTW and collabrating with capcom to make the masterpiece that was CvsSNK 2.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
