For 'Splosion Man the white shirt is for breaking the first pane of glass not the black one. Since me and my friend both have the white one and have not beaten it in co-op. |

@5 But the moniter isn't an ODST award it's for booting up Waypoint. Don't forget the Recon and Dare helmets for ODST as well!
We can only hope other games will have updates for awards. |

#1: You need to have Halo Waypoint to actually trigger the awards to unlock for ODST.

The Waypoint Beta is only available at the moment to people in the NNXE Dashboard Beta which sign-ups I believe are closed for. It goes live for everyone on the 5th. |

That's cool, but it seems like the awards should be under Halo Waypoint, not Halo 3: ODST. Also, I think it should be noted that Halo Waypoint seems to be unavailable to child accounts and silver accounts, at least for now. However, if one has an adult gold account, they can download it and go to their game library on the child/silver account to play it. |

#21: The only one that is specific to Waypoint ONLY is the Monitor, so that may have its own section. All the other ones can't be unlocked without playing ODST first, so that is why they are under its game. |

cant wait to get halo waypoint to get that odst armor..i have the requirements for the armor so im really excited for it and the oracle too. Hopefully they have more avatar awards so that we get more from our hard work. Instead of just some gamerscore we can get some cool shirts too

I'm excited about this feature. Achievements scores overall can be BS (Avatar anyone?), however if the awards are done right they can actually represent an actual trophy.
The Vidmaster Challenge: Endure achievement for example, isn't something that most will have.

#46: Well, first of all those images are of a terrible resolution and look pretty grainy. Plus they're most likely just ripped and edited from promotional images released by the developers of each game.
The way we do it, we're using official Xbox images from our own community members. That combination has always been how our site runs and I think is what makes it great. Anyone can Photoshop an image they find online, but using official resources provided through Microsoft and by our members has always been the way we choose to run our features. |

#51: I guess your right (and I agree with getting memebers to help provide the content), I just think it looks a bit messy having to have a whole avatar just to show off an item (specially if the name of the item isn't obvious as to what it is, you'll have to work out what's different between two avatars), and the format seems rather different from the way this site displays achievements and their details, though that'll settle in over time I'm sure (it's new, and change is confusing/scary).
Anyways, sorry if I seem like I'm just being an arse, I think it's brilliant that the site has this feature (and even if I really did hate how it was, I'd still use it!)... |

It's true that clothes look better on hangers, but I don't see Microsoft implementing a bulimic option. While avatar does look a bit chunky, it's better than having a massive head on top of a stick figure. Besides, who wouldn't want to tap Ms. Pants!?
Anyway, I don't really give a damn about avatars, but that's in part because you have to pay for a lot of the premiere items. With this, I may just take an interest. I know I want C3P0, er, 343 floating around my head! |

And @38 and @39, I am sure you need the disc. You will have to put in the game to get the update that unlocks the items. Just like 'Splosion Man, you had to start the game to get the update to unlock the items. |

Well, I would make the argument that the Awards are under Halo Waypoint in the dashboard, not Halo 3: ODST. So, it would seem that the Awards should be under Halo Waypoint on the site too, in order to prevent confusion. Then again, you run the site, not me, so you guys can do whatever you want. But, I respectfully disagree. |

This is a really good idea, and a great added feature to the site. I know there was a forum thread about avatar awards and which game had them, but adding them to the game pages makes it alot easier to find, and more user friendly.

well actually, halo waypoint is going to be for all halo games to come, which would mean that there may be more unlockables to come from waypoint. Also when you go into the avatar editor it is under halo waypoint not odst so technically speaking it is waypoint that they should be under. That and waypoint is recognized as a game on live not an app like facebook/twitter/netflix is. Just my thoughts. |
