| Well, this game is only played with that skateboard controller as far as I know so I think that's why the achievements appear to be easier, point-wise. I have a feeling the game itself is going to create lots of YouTube fodder. | ||

| I bet that the achievements will be either very easy to achieve or very hard. People are new to this peripheral which would be the reason for the ease but then again Activision's Guitar Hero achievements are ridiculously hard. | ||

| Yeah,this is getting bad press from people who have played it. TBH it didn't look like something that was going to be successful. And its price tag in the UK is an unfortunate £100. Just as unfairly priced as Activision's other peripheral-centered franchise. I pay no more than £40 for a game, so I don't fancy paying 150% more for what looks to be a half-baked attempt at emulating the tricky sport that is skateboarding. Think of all the jaffa cakes i could buy with that money! And i wouldn't have to stand up to eat them :P Seriously, i recommend that people wait for reviews, because i think it is risky to pre-order such an untested and new peripheral-based game. | ||

| I'd rather stick the peripheral up my ass then pay £100.00 for < 20 hours of entertainment it will surely not bring. Why can't "they" go back to the drawing board and say; "Tony Hawk's lost it's way when we took the focus off the skateboarding and tried to turn it into a jack of all trades. Let's go back to THPS4 where we achieved perfection and try and recreate that". Skate has simulation, Tony has arcade. | The achievements look interesting enough to me. I'm not going to spend £100 on this at laucnh, the first time I have't gotten a skateboarding game in years. If it was £40 I'd do it but with a crappy peripheral needed to play (which looks crap may I mention) I'll pass. #22 brings up a great point about Natal, it leads me to conclude that this skateboard will be being sold for £20 come a couple of months down the line. I hate to say it but this game will fail. Easy for GS though. | ||

| #21 THPS4? Tony Hawk stopped being a decent game after THPS2. I mean, if you enjoyed it, that's great. But when I played it on PC/Mac waaaayyy on back when, I was bored as hell compared to previous installations in the series. THUG1 reignited my interest with the story mode, but it was such a piss poor one. | ||

| Tony Hawk lost my interested after Tony Hawk's Underground 2. Tony Hawk's American Wasteland was just waste and the games after that were not interesting enough. I think they should just stick to the older Tony Hawk's and make Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. It has been a downhill after THPS4, they even made a game of it (Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam). | ||

| I've been recently playing through American Wasteland, ok It's not the best one ever but you know what? It's still Tony Hawks, still played on a controller and I'm really enjoying clearing up those last few gaps! P8 was brilliant but suffered from an INSANE difficulty spike which I felt was too punishing for even Hawk veterans, judging by the amount of 1000/1000 on this very site, they got the balance wrong. Proving ground....ugh...just plain boring, grey, brown, serious....broning challenges, worst Tony Hawk game ever. Ride? I'm sorry to see my favorite franchise go this way, I can't play it, i'm not wheelchair bound, but I refuse to look like a plonker on yet another unnecesary peripheral.
