Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood UK Achievement Race - Gold Rush Written Monday, June 22, 2009 by Dan Webb
In the past we've given away a lot of really cool prizes, but for me, this has to be the coolest one we've EVER given away. In collaboration with Ubisoft UK, we've combined together to bring you one hell of a competition ... one hell of a prize ... and in fitting with the whole game's setting, you know it's gold!! To celebrate the impending release of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, the prequel to the 2007 Call of Juarez title, we're teaming together with Ubisoft UK to put on an achievement race of epic proportions, with the grand prize being a gold plated Xbox 360. I repeat, a gold plated Xbox 360! In order to avoid the chaos posed by people receiving the game early and getting an unfair advantage, we're going to run the UK only competition as we've done so in the past: - Instead of doing it first come first served, you'll have a set amount of time to go out and get all the achievements in the title. No specifics have been arranged yet in terms of how long the time period we would set will be. We're still working that out, but 2 weeks is the figure being thrown around at the moment. The competition will be officially unveiled on July 2nd ... this is more of a heads up. Without further ado, I'll just show you the prize. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is out in the UK on July 3rd. [We've been informed there should be no glitched achievements this time as well.]
