Welcome to March, the month when the world turns Irish for a day. A year ago I was sat on a beach in Australia, so really happy to be writing this at the moment in not-so sunny England! Anyway, this months MOTM is another one of those that have crept in under the radar to most. Anyone that took part in the GSL will know this guy as the man that couldn't be caught. No point in delaying this any longer, so let me introduce.........
Lets start by finding out a bit more about the man behind the GamerTag.
My name is Brandon. I am a 25 year old college student in Augusta, Georgia. I am going to school for a Computer Science major and a Physics minor. I have pretty much all A's with only one B tarnishing that perfect 4.0 record after 2 and a half years(Thank you, Professor Onofrio ). I think this might be the best place to answer the question I get asked most about...my gamertag. Majin comes from years ago when I was digging Dragonball Z. The two characters I enjoyed most in the show was Vegeta when he became Majin Vegeta and like the third or fourth iteration of Majin Buu. Fro comes from my love of all things funk. I prefer when people call me by my gamertag to just use Fro. And no, I don't have an afro.
What is your gaming setup like?
It's nothing fancy. I have a 42 inch Samsung DLP HDTV, Elite 360, Wii, Xbox 180, PS2, and about 6 different book shelves filled with games/movies scattered all around my room.
What is your favorite game on the 360?
That is a tough choice. I am really enjoying CoD4 right now but I will have to go with Dead Rising just because I have wanted a zombie mall game since I saw the first Dawn Of The Dead and Night Of The Comet.
And the game that makes you scream?
Hands down that game would be Hot Wheels Beat That!
What achievement are you most proud of?
Because I have only had a 360 since September and the GSL I haven't had a real chance to go after any beastly achievements I would have to go with the Gobstone Champion one from Harry Potter OOTP. I spent hours and hours during the GSL going for this one.
Which achievement is the next on the hit list for you?
I think I see the Mile High Club in my future.
What was the last thing you downloaded from the Arcade?
I bought Triggerheart Exelica the day it came out because the anchor system intriqued me and I was never blessed to own a Dreamcast.
Do you get games mainly for achievements, or for gameplay?
Prior to the Gamerscore League? I was pretty much all about gameplay. After point whoring my little heart out for Team YABA I am finding it hard to transition back into that mindset. So it is definitely all about achievements though I mix in some awesome games like CoD4 and Mass Effect.
Is the 360 your only console currently? Do you have plans for any more?
I have been gaming since I was in diapers with the Atari. So if you count all the broken non played systems laying around the house and in storage I have quite a few.I might pick up a PS3 in a year or two...if they ever get a good batch of decent non multi platform games.
Whats the next game that you will be getting?
It is a toss up between Bully and Army Of Two.
