Not much disgusts me in this day and age of the internet. Unfortunately my brain and my poor eyes have been subjected to some of the worst things that the internet has to offer. Call it intrigue. Call it asshole friends. Either way, I’ve got a pretty strong tolerance. Well I thought I did.

Welcome to the fourth Annual x360a Achievement Awards! Now I’m sure most of you have seen these before, but some of our newer members won’t have. Basically the community here at x360a comes up with the winners and the losers in the world of achievements. To check out what it’s all about, have a look at last years winners here.

Now the basic rules- all the games must have been released from 1st December 2008 to 30th November 2009. Luckily for you, Roxy kindly made a list of all those games for you, located here. Please pay attention to the list, and avoid previous years of doing things like voting for Halo as driving game of the year. Please also only one nomination per post!

We have added a new category this year to cover DLC as well- make sure the first winner is a good one!

Anyway, all categories are open for nominations. The forum can be located here. Remember, the first stage is the nominations. These will close on the 21st December. The nominations will be counted, and votes will open in the New Year.

Well, we all know everyone loves a GSL. And we also know that GSL tends to cause more drama than they’re worth, hence why we stopped doing them in public. So, that led to one thing- a Staff and Subscribers GSL. Now many of you will have seen some staff and subscribers bearing strange signatures over the last month or so- that is the reason why!

Anyway, GSL 8 kicked off a month ago on 1st November, so we thought we’d do an update and let everyone know how it’s going. For those of you not aware of the link:

So, as you can see, it has been a great month of scoring. We have 3 teams over 50k (All Your Achievements are Belong To Us, AWO and Team Montana), as well as Hand of Thrawn hitting the 40k mark. There has also been some impressive individual scores, with Gackt, Filter, Stoph, Roxy and myself all clearing the 15k for the month. We also had Madhatters, Dudewiththeface, Covert, ThrawnOmega and Patches all pass the 10k mark.
