	Comment #5 by J4ckyb0y1 Friday, October 05, 2012 @ 02:45:26 PM Believe a soldier can only fire an RPG/Launcher once per mission so blasting everything like you could in the original may not be an option here. From what I have seen, can't scavenge and use enemy weapons either.

Good call about the female char J4ckyb0y, although if you're also going for 'Ain't no Cavalry Comin' best make sure it's one of your starting chars.

Not sure if it was because of the difficulty change or because i was relying on mind control. I'm pretty sure i read somewhere (gamefaqs.com maybe?) that SHIVs also void the achievement. About to try on a ufo landing rather than crash (as i forget is said crash site), will post if it works.

	Comment #11 by Zosete Monday, October 22, 2012 @ 01:41:11 PM I'm using the last savegame before embarking on the last mission (which I played on normal). I switched difficulty to classic after getting the UFO down and cleared with just a female soldier. None of the achievements (this and valkyries) popped up. Strange, cause the last one shouldn't be difficulty related. Possible factors: You can't do it with one girl. Has to be a full squad (?) Classic achievements must be done through a full game on classic (?)

	Comment #12 by Zosete Monday, October 22, 2012 @ 02:58:50 PM OK. It seems that if you take an UFO down, even if you switch difficulty, once you send the skyranger and land it reverts back to normal. BUT this time I switched difficulty before engaging it with the Firethingie (the savegame had it popped in the screen, though). It turned into a different mission, more difficult. It remained on classic the whole mission. Finished it and... Nope. None of the achievements. So now I just need to confirm that you need a fresh start or find a new UFO on classic.

I just moved extremely cautiously, whenever I triggered a group I moved back and made them come to me. I also did my best to use full cover. I had to reload a couple of times but I got it. Oh, and I also started the game on classic.

Once you get a sniper to Colonel you can attack twice per round, and you will also have the recon probe to help you scout two areas. The probe is nice since it doesn't trigger the aliens to attack right away.

	Comment #20 by FrankRenegade29 Thursday, May 16, 2013 @ 08:56:09 AM Did it with a assault class on the very first downed UFO mission. Run&Gun + grenades were a gamechanger for me. Classic difficulty of course. If the little aliens boost each other with their mind connection, target the one in the back that is boosting with the Run&Gun. The other one will be killed by feedback immediately even if at full health. In case of big group, use grenade. Finaly, between each groups of alien, take time to recharge skills and weapon. Its not a race and patience give that chiev on a silver plater.
