Obviously the best way to get this is to play on easy/recruit however if you're playing on anything more you need to have one squad on suppression detail, another for chucking grenades, and another for close combat/repair tarantulas at the very least. The 4th man you have is up to you. I use Avitus for suppression, Tarkus for grenades (since he has infinite), and I use Cyrus to emplace mines and bombs on other entrance as I defend the other. The Force Commander I use as close combat and to summon artillery.
