On the challenge mission where ye are stranded I had 2 go on me, but the game freezes on me now and again on xbox360 so I didn't have a save file. |

I have been playing the same save game for 3 days solid and i have only seen 2 eruptions. I am quite bored with this achievement now, also it's got to a stage in the game now where i can't export and all the garages have no workers and i can't hire any or get any immigrants to come to my island, so i am constantly in debt. I think the programmers of this game have either a sick sense of humour or they truly ran out of ideas.

This one was kinda glitchy for me, but ended out working. It didn't chime as achieved for me until a few years after my third volcano was finished.
Also, if you save often enough you can reload before a disaster and through repetition and patience force the game to give you an eruption instead of something else. Commodity price decreases seem to count as a disaster as well, so if you see one of those pop up you can reload. |
