With this Road Map, Trivial Pursuit is one of the shortest games on the Xbox 360 to earn the full 1000 in and should take you no more than five to ten hours. When I say there are lots of missable achievements, this is just due to the fact that you have to follow a very specific set of game rules to unlock certain ones.

When you first load up the disc, start up a game in Classic Mode. Here all you have to do is win all six wedges for the "First Wedge" & "Fast Worker" achievements. You can also earn "You Don't Know Everything" along the way. This is one playthrough.

Next start up a game in Facts And Friends Mode. Work towards earning "Wedge Off", "Risky Business", "Wedge HQ Winner", "Wedge Domination", "Better Luck Next Time", "Lucky Break", "Bet Your Bottom Dollar", "Gambling Glory", & "Gambling God" all in your second playthrough.

Your third playthrough will be the final time you play Facts And Friends Mode, this time go straight for all the "Flawless" wedge achievements. You do not have to complete this playthrough, once you unlock the last achievement just quit out.

Your fourth through seventh playthroughs will all be in Capture The Board Mode. See the "Objective Master achievement description below for what exactly you will be playing for in each game.

Notes: *I highly recommend you download the FREE Movie Pack DLC currently available on Xbox Live and when you play a game set it to "Movie Pack ONLY". It's much easier than what the game has due to the fact it's a lot smaller and you will get repeats OFTEN after 6-8 plays. There is also a Video Game DLC pack available if you preordered from Gamestop that also functions in the same way.

*With any of these questions, if you do not know the answer you can remove the battery from your Xbox Controller or unplug it if using a wired one and it will pause the game. This will allow you to look up the answer on Google, IMDB.com, or the website of your choice.

*All achievements can be done with one controller. You can assign up to four players to one controller and control them all, having them answer exactly the way you want.

All of the Fast Worker achievements can only be unlocked in Classic Trivial Pursuit mode, available from the main menu. All they require you to do is land on one of the colored Arrow Spaces on the outer circle of the board and correctly answer the question related to its field of trivia on your FIRST attempt to earn a wedge piece. If you answer incorrectly, quit out and start the game over again. Along with unlocking the first worker wedge, you will also unlock the "First Wedge" achievement as well.
Wedge Off Winner30
Win a Wedge Off (F&F) 
This can only be unlocked in Facts And Friends Mode, available from the main menu. Start a new game with your main profile and either have a friend play or just use the default Player 2 profile you will control. Each player MUST acquire one wedge first before this can be attempted or else you will never get the option for a Wedge Off. After that has been done, have either player land on one of the Bonus Event Tiles (marked by a full puck icon on the playing field) until you get the Wedge Off Icon (which is an orange triangle with a target on it). This randomly generates, so it might take a few tries. The game will ask both players True or False questions, just make sure your Main Profile answers correctly to win the second player's wedge and unlock this achievement.

This can only be unlocked in Facts And Friends Mode, available from the main menu. To unlock this, simply have your Main Profile land on one of the Bonus Event Tiles (which is marked by a full puck icon on the playing field) and press the button to activate it.
Wedge HQ Winner20
Win a wedge using the Wedge HQ space (F&F) 
This can only be unlocked in Facts And Friends Mode, available from the main menu. The Wedge HQs are the six tiles on the outside of the board representing each trivia category with an arrow on them. All you have to do is land on one and answer a question correctly to win a wedge and unlock the achievement. As a side note, you can also unlock this on the big blue tile in the center of the playing field with the Trivial Pursuit logo on it by answering a single question there correctly as well.

Win all the wedges in a single game (F&F) 
This can only be unlocked in Facts And Friends Mode, available from the main menu. Start a new game with your main profile and either have a friend play or just use the default Player 2 profile you will control. To win this achievement, you must win all six wedges on the playing field. This is quite simple when you are controlling both players, just make sure your Main Profile answers all of the questions correctly. You can also bet against the other player to earn points faster and speed this process up.

NOTE: When betting against the second player, you can choose the "I Know It!" option which will earn you two points instead of one if they get the answer wrong and you get it right. Be aware this does not count as a bet, however, if you're going for any of the gambling achievements.
Bet Your Bottom Dollar40
Win all your wedges by betting only (F&F) (1) 
This can only be unlocked in Facts And Friends Mode, available from the main menu. Start a new game with your main profile and either have a friend play or just use the default Player 2 profile you will control. In F&F Mode, you earn points for answering a question along with betting if the other player knows the answer or not. Every four points per category, you earn a wedge automatically.

You get two points for answering a question correctly and one point per correct bet. With you controlling both players, this is quite easy because you can have them answer the way you want them to. To win a wedge by betting, all you have to do is bet on the 4th point whether the player knows the answer or not. With you controlling both players, this is quite easy because you can have them answer the way you want them to.

Before you start betting on the Wedges, make four successful bets on standard tiles. After that, do the next six bets on the wedges. Doing this will be a total of ten bets and unlock you the "Gambling Glory" & "Gambling God" achievements as well as the "Lucky Break" one for your first wedge won via bet.

NOTE: When betting against the second player, you can choose the "I Know It!" option which will earn you two points instead of one if they get the answer wrong and you get it right. Be aware this does not count as a bet, however, if you're going for any of the gambling achievements, but it can be used to speed up to process to get you to three points faster.

Can only be unlocked In Facts And Friends Mode, available from the main menu. The achievement descriptions for the Flawless achievements are little deceptive, you do NOT have to answer all the questions correctly. All you have to do is answer a Wedge Question correctly on your first attempt in whichever trivia field you are in, and it will unlock the respective achievement.

This can only be unlocked in Clear The Board Mode, available from the Main Menu. Start a new game with your main profile and either have a friend play or just use the default Player 2 profile you will control. All you have to do is win all six trivia wedges on the playing field, which is quite easy when you are controlling both players.

This can only be unlocked in Clear The Board Mode, available from the Main Menu. In this mode, it is Timed Single Player with the addition of only getting a chance to answer a question ONCE as well as scoring multipliers for getting questions right. There are also 20 objectives for you complete in this mode as well. While you are meeting the criteria to unlock this achievement, you will unlock all the other "Objective" ones along the way. To see what objectives you have unlocked, from the Main Menu choose Options & Profile/View Profile/Objectives. They are as follows:
  1. All Cleared - clear the board
  2. Personal Best - beat your previous set time
  3. Quick As A Flash - clear the board in under 10 minutes
  4. Category Expert - get a 5x multiplier
  5. Category Master - get a 10x multiplier
  6. Trivia Expert - get a 5x multiplier in every category
  7. Trivia Master - get a 10x multiplier in every category
  8. Know A Bit - answer 5 questions correctly in a row
  9. Know A Lot - answer 10 questions correctly in a row
  10. Know It All - answer 15 questions correctly in a row
  11. Scientifically Proven - clear all Science questions with at least a 5x multiplier
  12. Learning From The Past - clear all History questions with at least a 5x multiplier
  13. Been There Answered That - clear all Geography questions with at least a 5x multiplier
  14. Standing Ovation - clear all Entertainment questions with at least a 5x multiplier
  15. Culture Vulture - clear all Art & Lit questions with at least a 5x multiplier
  16. Crowd Goes Wild - clear all Sports & Leisure questions with at least a 5x multiplier
  17. In Pursuit Of Perfection - clear the board with an incorrect answer
  18. Straight To The Point - clear the board with NO multipliers on any Wedge HQs
  19. No Pressure - answer the final bonus question on your first attempt
  20. Nothing Trivial About This - get a 10x multiplier on all categories and answer the final bonus question on your first attempt
The best way to do all the Capture The Boards achievements/objectives are as follows:
  1. Start & complete a Capture The Board game that is at least 5 minutes where you don't score too high and making sure you capture some regular tiles as well as Wedge HQ tiles. This will net you several Objectives
  2. Start & complete a Capture The Board game where you go for the Personal Best & Quick As a Flash objectives along with the "You Were A Blur" & "Straight To The Point" achievements.
  3. Start & complete a Capture The Board game where you go for the "Personal Best" ACHIEVEMENT (NOT to be confused with the Objective of the same name). It is unlikely you will have unlocked this in the second playthrough as "You Were A Blur" will not score you very many points. If you don't unlock "Personal Best" before going for the "You Know Too Much" achievement you will be unable to get it and will have to delete your save file and start over.
  4. Start a Capture The Board game where you go for "Maxed Out", "Objective Master", "Knowledge Is Invaluabe", & "You Know Too Much Achievements". Answer the first question correctly while making sure Autosave is ON and then turn it OFF. Go through the board and find out eleven answers for each of the six categories by answering wrong on purpose to see the correct answer, memorizing them or writing them down. Quit out and reload your save, and all the questions will be the same from the unsaved game. You will have all the answers now.

This can only be unlocked in Clear The Board Mode, available from the Main Menu. This will require you play and complete a game of Clear The Board Mode, and then play another one where you score higher than you did in the first game to unlock achievement.

NOTE: DO NOT go for this achievement while going for the "Maxed Out" or "You Know Too Much" achievements. Do this achievement BEFORE you attempt those two. The reason is doing those two achievements will net you the game's maximum score of 100,800 and it is impossible to score higher than that. See The "Objective Master" achievement description for a Road Map of the best order to tackle these achievements in.

Clear the board in under 10 minutes 
This is best done in Capture The Board Mode, available from the Main Menu. The best way to do this is by clearing the board by ONLY capturing the Wedge HQ tiles on the outside of the board and if you land on a standard question tile answering incorrectly as quickly as possible so you can roll again for a chance to get to a Wedge HQ. There is also a trick to rolling the dice, if you watch the dice scroll across there's a section of low numbers like 1's and 2's. When you see these, press the button as fast as possible and you'll get a higher number.

I also recommend that, if you don't roll a six on your first try, quit the game and restart until you do, that way your first move will be to a Wedge HQ. With a little practice, you can clear a board in under four minutes. If you ONLY capture Wedge HQ pieces, you will also unlock the "Straight To The Point" achievement as well.

NOTE: DO NOT go for this achievement until you have already played a game of Capture The Board that is longer than 5 minutes. For the "Objective Master" Achievement, there is an objective called Personal Best that requires you beat a previous time, and if you clear the board in under 4 minutes it will be very difficult to beat that time. See The "Objective Master" achievement description for a Road Map of the best order to tackle these achievements in.
You Know Too Much100
Clear the board without getting a question wrong (2) 
This is best done in Capture The Board Mode, available from the Main Menu. Doing this correctly will also net you most of the "Objectives", "Maxed Out", & "Knowledge Is Invaluable" achievements. You have to answer every question correctly, doing so will give you a higher point multiplier each time. Once you've answered 10 questions correct in a category, you'll get a 10x multiplier above the Wedge HQ.

You absolutely cannot capture a Wedge HQ until you've gotten all six categories up to the 10x multiplier. This will give you the "Maxed Out" achievement. Once all six categories show a 10x, start capturing them one by one. Once you've captured all six, you will be asked on final bonus question to win the game. You must also answer this correctly to unlock the "You Know Too Much" achievement.

Unless you've played Capture The Board numerous times, this is very hard to do legitmately. A very in-depth strategy on an exploit to make this easier can be found HERE.

Be the first person to lose all their lives in the end game phase (F&F)  
This can only be unlocked In Facts And Friends Mode, available from the main menu. Start a new game with your main profile and either have a friend play or just use the default Player 2 profile you will control. In Facts And Friends Mode, you will enter into the "end game phase" where each player gets a number of hearts depending on how many wedges they earned. The game will ask both of you a question, whoever gets it wrong loses a heart. The first player to lose all their hearts loses the game, but unlocks this achievement. Just make sure your Main Profile answers all the questions wrong to unlock it.
You don't know everything10
Get a question wrong (Classic)  
Can only be unlocked In Classic Mode, available from the main menu. Simply answer a question incorrectly to unlock this achievement.
